Here's Huron Blackheart again, this time leading a squad of Red Corsairs Terminators Scenic pic using a Jon Hodgson backdrop

Finished kitbashing and painting up the first squad of Fallen Angels legionaries, as part of a full combat patrol of them. I've used a mix of 30k and 40k kits, with a few Dark Angels parts thrown in to make them look more knightly

I wanted to try something new with sponge weathering to make the armour look battered and dirty, I'm pretty happy with how it turned out!

Here's the first five of the bunch. I wanted the aspiring champion to look like a corrupted version of the 30k praetor, so I used the Chaos Marine body with the segmented plates, and a 30k winged helmet

The second five, including the icon bearer. I used the 40k Inner Circle banner arm, and added the Chaos Marine icon with a Dark Angels drop pod symbol in the center

Hopefully they've turned out ok! The backdrops in the photos are from Jon Hodgson's sci-fi backdrop range

Fallen Angels Cultists

Finished kitbashing and painting up a cultist mob for my Fallen Angels Warband, to go with the legionaries for a combat patrol

The squad are mostly based on the Necromunda Cawdor gang, with heads from the Bretonnian Men at Arms, and arms from the Sisters of Battle Novitiates.

And like with the legionaries, here's a shot of them in front of a Jon Hodgson backdrop

Void Jakhals

I've kitbashed together a gaggle of Jakhals for my World Eaters, where I've themed them as crew and armsmen from the Conqueror.

They're mostly made from the Imperial Navy Breachers kit, with chainaxes from the Jakhals, but there's a few Orlock and Flagellant arms thrown in to make them look a bit scruffy. The Dishonored is a Corpse-Grinder Cult gang member, with an air tank glued to the back of his suit

Fallen Angels Possessed

Continuing on with my combat patrol, I've kitbashed together a squad of possessed

I've tried to make them look more 'knightly' than the out-of-the-box ones, with extra sword arms, tilt shields and Dark Angels hoods. I've used Plague Marine heads for a couple of them to keep the more renegade 30k look going

Once again, they are in front of a Jon Hodgson backdrop

Continuing on with my Fallen project I've painted up a (very pale) Cypher from over the holidays.

The Serenade, for Pride Month!

Painted up The Serenade by Bad Squiddo Games for Pride Month. I thought this was a really cute vignette of a couple of Soviet girlfriends enjoying a tender moment together

They've also got a little picnic going which is very sweet

It's my first time using John Hodgson backdrops as well, so I'm still getting used to the lighting there! Here's another shot from my usual lightbox as a comparison
