Love your tumblr sooo much, I found out about their relationship in your tumblr, one of the best out here! I have questions about jikook:

Do you think they broke up at some point in the relationship?

Is there any moment (besides the one in Manila) when they appear fighting on camera for everyone to see?

Did they go through some shit in their relationship in 2019?

Is JK really codependent and obsessive (in a GOOD way) when it comes to Jimin?

No, they've never broken up. They've taken breaks. But never broken up. There is nothing out there that points to this being the case...In my opinion. Maybe once or twice Jimin suggested they do break up for the sake of the group? But then that didn't work out coz JK shut the idea down, real quick. Maybe. Who knows? Not me. ☺

hi storm! do you have any theories about jikook ever breaking up or going through tough periods? i know some jkers think they werent together during ON era and i was wondering what your thoughts were on if they ever were distant as a whole. its sad to think of that but i mean are we to assume theyve been perfect for 7 years? of course not! no couples are. so im curious are there any "eras" uve noticed something like that with them? :) thanks!

Look, those theories all get way too much into the k drama type of speculation for me. It takes the they are only human and humans are messy stuff too far in my opinion. Yes, couples fight. But fighting doesn't mean distant and broken up. Let's assume jikook have been an item for years now. OF COURSE they are going to have arguments. Big ones and little ones. Fights we of course are not going to be privy too. But all the behind content we have gotten from that era from memories just confirmed to me they were fine. They don't have to be eye f**king on camera constantly for me to think they are doing just fine or that they are fighting or have broken up. I've been with my husband for 11 years, married for 6 of those. Have we fought? Oh yes. Have we had very big fights? Absolutely!! Have we had tiny petty stupid fights? Yup. Have we had fights we laugh over later? Yes. Have we had fights that resulted in me leaving our apartment and sleeping over at my mom's house because I was so mad I needed to leave before saying or doing something stupid? Also yes. Have we ever broken up because of these fights? Nope, never taken a break or a pause or a separation. We fight, we communicate over it and we work through it. And then we come out the other end better for it and understanding each other better too.

Are we to assume that things have been perfect and honeymoon phase for 7 years? No. Does that mean they have broken up or had an on again off again type relationship over those 7 years with fights they've had? Also no. There is a middle ground there that can and should be acknowledged. That middle ground is where most couples tend to hang out in for the most part. Lol

Hope that clears things up on how I see things at least. I will of course also get more into the nitty gritty of how I see things in each years/eras for them dynamics wise as I get to those years on my jikook dynamics series. It'll take some time though. Lol be patient with me 🥰

Why do you think Jimin decided to travel the world for 3 weeks without Jungkook back in 2019?

Here is a few things:

•They could have gotten a Tokyo 2.0, but decided not to.

•The little glimpses we got from JK during that time,... he looked quite sad

•I feel it in my gut that Jikook had a pivotal moment during their summer break in 2019.

I am not usually confident on speaking about Jikook fights/breaks seeing as I wasn't Army yet. As a late comer I only have others to rely on and I can't trust that 100%. It's always gonna be better consuming content in real time.

I do agree with most assessments that something was a bit wonky in 2019. And while what Jimin did for JK's birthday was HUGE and sweet and amazing, I do feel like it happened for a reason. Almost like it was crucial for him to do so. Like, think about it.

He went to great lengths to make it for that birthday. And he was only there for a short period before he had to leave again.

Jimin spent more time travelling than with JK. But for some reason he just had to be there. Something about this has always seemed...not sus, no. But like there was more to it. You know what I mean?

And we haven't even factored in the photo Jimin uploaded where its pretty clear JK had been crying. Why would JK cry on his birthday? My theory, which isn't really mine but rather an existing theory that I agree with, is that mans did not expect so see Jimin and was hella relieved that Mimi showed up.

Jimin had taken off for however long the Tannies were on holiday for, without JK and the latter thought for sure his bf wasn't going to be there for his birthday. We know this because the whole thing was a surprise.

Also, this was around the time (2018-2019) members were moving out of the dorm and getting their own places so we know Jikook had been inseparable until this point. And while it has always been common knowledge that Jimin had other friends outside of BTS, that wasn't the case for JK.

So members are scattered doing their own thing with their friends and family and JK is in Seoul doing what? Jikook are interdependent we already know this and JK's person is travelling Europe without him. So probably the very first time in years they've been away from eo, for this amount of time.

I can see this affecting satellite Jeon big time. And so when he's already accepted Jimin will be MIA for his big day, BOOM! their friend helps Jimin organise the surprise party for JK.

If Jikook were fighting like many seem to think, then JK was prolly so happy to see Jimin. He didn't expect him, for one. And also he didn't know how long the fight was gonna last for, so the waiting had prolly been torture. So Jimin showing up must have made JK so relieved and happy. Poor baby

That he went and tattooed JM on his hand to show his gratitude? His devotion? His commitment? Who knows 🤷🏽‍♀️

So why do I think they fought u ask? I do not know, anon. I wasn't around. But theories that make sense to me;

Jimin wanted them to enjoy their holiday separately?

They'd been inseparable for 8 years and Jimin thought some space would do them good?

Jimin wanted them to hang out with other people rather than just each other?

All theories insinuate whatever separation was happening during this time was Jimin's call. Because if it was up to JK they would spend 24/7 together and he would be just fine. As long as he has Jimin, is all good.

And because Jimin knows his baby has separation anxiety, he made sure to @least come back for JK's birthday. Even if it would only be for a few hours before he was off traveling again.

I have a question that is always on my mind: Do you think JK had/has any issue (like a jealous issue) with any of Jimin's friends? Do you think they've ever had a fight because of Jimin's friends?

We know that Jimin is very social and always very open to having friends in the industry and JK is always attentive to every step his true love takes.

My dear, there is not a way for me to know this because I can't speak on something we haven't even seen on camera. Its not like this speculation that made sense. or the Taemin theory (i touched on here too) We can't tell what happens when the camera turns off. It is possible JK is as territorial as he's always been, but so far fights like the ones on this post are the only ones we can speak of.

So jk basically confirmed that he was bratty back in the day resulting in him pissing jm off to the point that jm was done with him.

And then, and then, and then anon, on the rooftop they kissed... they kissed on the roof, and didn't care that they were getting soaked. Because nothing else in that moment mattered, nothing more than them in each other's embrace. Jungkook regretted talking to Jimin the way he did. He was so happy that Jimin had forgiven him, that he couldn’t stop tearing up into the kiss. Which made Jimin tear up too. Coz he loved this boy so much, and wouldn't want anything bad to happen to him. So he poured all his relief into that kiss. Rain... more rain... wet... both of them soaked. But still not enough to make them stop kissing. And Jungkook apologised once more when they were done. And then they hugged. Giggling. Like the teenagers that they were. All wet on the rooftop. But they didn't care. They were young boys in love and nothing could tear them apart. And then they lived happily ever after.

Real talk though, this was absolutely about their push and pull. JK wanting to be the hyung. He was clearly a dog with a bone and very adamant about this and as we know now, Jimin while it took him a while, eventually gave in.

If you watch their older content you will notice Jhope is usually the one having the strongest reaction to dropping of honorifics. Especially when Jimin did it to him. That’s how u know this shit is a big deal. I-army tend to ignore this side of Jikook but if only they knew. Its really not something to take lightly. It means something that JK can call Jimin by his name without the hyung and get away with it.

Anyway anon, back on topic I am so glad we got JK’s version of the rainy day fight. We knew if he told this story we would get alot more details and that’s exactly what happened.

There is nothing that proves Jikook is real more than comparing them to real life actual couples. I wish she would come back.

But the funny thing is, as trivial as hide and seek sounds. I think JK's main issue was the fact that he didn't know. That no one told him. He likes to be privy to all things Jimin. He likes to know where his boyfriend is, what he's doing and with who. (But not in a controlling way. He just likes to know and there's nothing wrong with that) Which is why JK is always, always aware of what Jimin is doing at all times. People mistake that for jealousy but JK is just keeping an eye.

A perfect example of this would be episode 154 when Jimin brings up him and 2seok going to an escape room.

JK then grabs Jimin and asks;

heyyy... so, I just heard that some jkkrs think that km break up at some point of 2018, then got back together. And then, break up again in the end of 2019 till the early months of 2020. Personally, I don't agree w this, but I want to know your opinions. What do u think?

Hello dear anon. This was before my time. So I cannot comment on this. I can't have an opinion on something I didn't witness myself and I haven't seen anything that proves to me that this was the case. I've read people's opinions on this and I've seen people say this. But me, I don't think Jikook have ever broken up.

But if we are to be realistic. They have only ever been with each other, they only know each other. IF... IF anything happened, it was a just a break. Not an actual break up. Just a separation of some sorts that never lasted for long seeing as they're still going strong.

Couples fight and Jikook are no exception. Couples fight and move out for a bit coz they can't stand to be around each other. I can see this being a thing that happened to them too. But they ended up missing eo and getting back together if satellite Jikook is anything to go by.

What I've witnessed, are fights they forgot to leave at home and brought to work. I shared one here. Poor Jimin. And here where JK was mad at Jimin for practically the whole tour. And of course we all know about the manilla fight. Which again i think in the beginning it was Jimin who's messed up. But then tables turned when JK was singing these songs that insinuated he's the one who needed forgiving.

But you haven't felt bad until you've seen Jimin mad at JK 🥺

They fight anon. That there's no doubt about. But I don't think they broke up, broke up or worse saw other people during this. I am yet so see someone show me anything convincing.

I’m still trying to piece together this rainy day fight that JK was so gracious to give us more details on. But I still have so many questions. It sounded like the fight was in the presence of the other members? Like JM pulled JK aside to talk to him but everyone else was there? I thought originally that it was just Jikook in the practice room…

I also agree with you that I definitely think the fight was more about Jikook’s push and pull at the time. JK was probably dropping honorifics, doing naughty things with Jimin when the lights were out but to the rest of the members, they probably saw his informality with his hyung as disrespectful regardless of if they knew what was going on behind closed doors. The fight was definitely more about how Jungkook was treating Jimin than everyone else. It seemed like a private issue between them. And I think Jimin probably didn’t know where he stood with JK…. What type of relationship JK wanted with him… these are just some of my thoughts that come to mind. Of course, we won’t know the real truth but yeah. And no one can’t convince me that there wasn’t lip locking on the rooftop too.

I agree with you anon, Suga always used to be the most vocal about JK not treating Jimin like a hyung. I'm sure it was confusing for them to watch JK acting this way with Jimin, not fully understanding that their band members had a lil sum' sum'n going on....

But anon... for Jimin to pull JK aside and talk to him about toning down his brattyness, this could also be translated as JK being bratty to an older member that wasn't Jimin at this particular moment.

JK as per his own admission said he was hard headed and he wasn't being as submissive and well behaved as most maknaes usually are. And it didn't help that all his hyungs have always been quite lenient with him.

Either way this fight was about them. Period. I dont think it had anything to do with anyone else.

Even though i don't think he meant Jhope was there... So we don't even know if all 7 were there or just Vminkook. Their stories are really different and all we really know for sure is that:
