Fast paced and entertaining “New Pulp” adventure that brings back a little known old pulp hero and along with their modern addition Dillon also throw in such things as the Baltimore Gun Club from Jules Verne's From Earth to the Moon and Edward Bulwer-Lytton Vril among other things. Perhaps a bit adjective heavy at times, but I suppose that goes with Pulp stylings, though certainly not all practitioners of old Pulp, Robert E. Howard could at times be as stark as anything Hemingway did, but I digress, this is an entertaining adventure in the old new style.
