can we hear how you knocked judi dench over twice in one day?
Sure. She went to my old school and came to open our new gym block and we had stalls up to raise money. There was the Y11 common room area which had a door, and then an outdoor corridor area and then that intersected with the main outdoor route with a wall on the left and I ran out of the common room area, along the corridor and turned left around the blind corner because of the wall just as Judi was coming down the path and BOOM! Straight into her, she fell back and was caught by one of her friends/people/staff and a teacher. I apologised frantically she said it was fine and that was that.
About 2 hours later I was coming through from the road and there was an internal door, a corridor and then the external door and I bolted through both at top speed just as Judi was coming in through the door, and once again she fell over. I screamed in her face that I was sorry. She said something along the lines of me being a catastrophe, but she made it sound really nice and then she said it was ok, nothing to worry about, hoped I hadn’t squashed her cake (not a euphemism) and that was that.
Later she spent like a tenner on my pull the straw out of the sand to win a prize game. She really wanted that prize.
