i'm not sure if this could ever be in the works but since i watched jessica jones i've always thought about a jj/avengers crossover just because of all the chaos and dynamics of all those strong personalities coming together

I’m not sure if I sent this to you, but I had this head-canon of Jess and Trish going to Disney World. Jess talks shit about the high ticket prices while Trish laughs and pays for the ticket. Jess complains about the crowds and heat (leather jacket) while Trish tugs her along. Jess is also upset they don’t sell good yet cheap booze at the park. But, when Trish and Jess go on the Teacups ride, Trish catches Jess smiling — even though she’s trying to hide it. Jess loves the fireworks, too.
jsdhjdsfk OMG OKAY. Teenage Jess and Trish spending a day away from Dorothy and going to Disney because 15 year old Trish REALLY wanted to go. Jess hates amusement parks for a number of reasons, but she knows that Trish spent the night before crying quietly in her room, and for her Jess is willing to make this one sacrifice (she avoids the ferris wheel like the plague, though). She tries the strength test thing with the hammer and wins a big ass stuffed rabbit for Trish. It’s a good memory. One of those that she clings to when things get too rough.
why did they take Jessica's SPLEEN?!
because they keep taking everything from her so why not take one of her organs too, right? sakjdhjfk the best part is that it actually WAS an interesting story for all of one episode, then they... dropped it?? completely ?? we never see her in pain again, never see her taking her meds again, we don’t know if her bowels are functioning properly WE DON’T KNOW
If you could rewrite season 3, how would you handle Trish? Give her a redemption arc or something?
yes, that’s exactly what I would have done. In fact, I believed that was what the writers were going to do. As I’ve said before, I wanted Trish to learn a lesson. I wanted her to understand that being a hero isn’t easy and it’s not a good thing. It takes sacrifices and it hurts the people you care about.
So I wouldn’t have changed her arc too much. I would have kept everything up to the point where they killed Dorothy. Then, I would make her realize that trying to be a hero got her mother killed. Then she would see things differently. Listen to Jess more, take more calculated risks instead of being so goddamn reckless. Or, I would have made her turn herself in to the police, but I would have kept her in a regular prison (like they did with Alisa in s2), so Jess could visit.
It’s not her arc I have a problem with, it’s how they ended it. The Raft was too much imo.
Had a dream that jessica made new businesses cards that say jessica jones and associate with malcoms number on it for malcoms birthday havent stopped thinking about it

I really cant get over how trish said ‘im missing a piece without you’ they really meant everything to eachother and they wont even see eachother again. URGHH but i feel like it makes sense that they end along with the show since they were the heartbeat of the show
wow that... that hit me hard :( I’m still processing everything that happened this season, and while I do think Trish’s downfall was beautifully executed and was totally IC for her, I would have enjoyed a redemption arc way more. I honestly thought that was what they going for, but they decided to take her down a much darker path. It was very interesting to watch, but I’m... honestly tired of depressing, miserable endings. I just wanted my favorite characters to have good endings, you know? I wanted the writers to give them hope. But nah, life just sucks for Jessica Jones and Trish Walker.
TBH Trish got what she deserves, her downfall started at the end of season 1. Her character was always batshit crazy and a control freak. But we still loved her, Jessica still loved her even when Trish hurt her. But Trish ending was a fitting one IMO. And the fact that everyone is mad and surprise (no one should be surprised tho) is a true testament to how "good" that character is and how wholesome her writing is. Because at the end we feel exactly how Jessica does.
I don’t think Trish is batshit crazy. It’s much, much deeper than that.She was tired of feeling powerless and being exploited by everyone around her, and she wanted to make sure nobody else would have feel like that. But, yes, that side of Trish has always been there and there were many moments in s1 that showed that. The thing is that in s1 Jess and Trish wanted the exact same thing; to catch Kilgrave and, eventually, kill him. So there was no room for much conflict there. But the moment their wants and needs began to diverge in s2, it was obvious Trish wouldn’t listen to Jess because she never did. Trish always thought she was right at all times and could do no wrong (she was constantly judging Jess’ decisions from day one). So nothing she did came as a surprise to me at all, and her downfall felt completely organic imo. Do I like how they ended her story? No. Was it well developed? Absolutely yes. So I can’t exactly complain. No matter how bleak that ending felt.

Trish was the only family Jessica had left, and now she’s gone too. Trish is gonna live a miserable life in The Raft and Jessica is going to continue to save people and drink her brains out and try to fill in the void left by Trish and all the other people she’s loved and lost. They deserved to be happy. They deserved to heal :(
