Are you kidding? Gronk and I get married and we both worship best man JJ's pits on our wedding night.

Houston Texans defensive end JJ Watts started a crowd-funding charity for victims of Harvey on YouCaring.

His goal was to raise $200,000. And he donated $100,000 himself.

Within hours, that goal was shattered. And the next one. And the next.

Over the last week, youcaring and the JJ Watts foundation have worked nearly around the clock to keep the website up and running and keep up with the donations, most of the money coming in amounts of $500 or less. All of which is being spent directly on flood relief: food, water, necessities, etc.

And they've had to keep pushing the fundraising goal higher and higher. Right now, he's aiming for $20 million. They're at $18.3M.

I'm sharing this because it's nice to remember how good people are at their cores.

YouCaring doesn't take a cut of donations. Instead, website upkeep and the like are paid for through "tips" that you can choose to include with your donation.

And JJ Watts is one of the nicest guys in football.
