Where they've been friends long before the stardust crusader events. And he's been trying to confess his feelings to her, but she's high key dense to any gestures he does.

And so he tried to do it through Star Platinum to her stand. Since it may be easier as technically, their emotions are synced. But her stand is even denser towards any affections star platinum may throw at her.

you and jotaro had been close friends since childhood; him being the quiet, stoic boy who got into fights for ‘no reason’, and you being the only friend who never pried too hard about it. you’re one of the few people he can get to fully relax, even if this did just consist of him walking home with you in comfortable silence. however, although he’ll never admit it straight up, your warm and comfortable demeanour caused him to fall more and more in love with you every day.

even when he was procrastinating telling you how he really feels, he’d still walk home with you in silence, followed by a gruff “it’s cold,” or “it’s late,” every now and then. you always assumed that he just worried too much, never realising this was jotaro’s version of romantic devotion.

by the time the crusaders began, jotaro’s silent feelings had been simmering for years. but, every single time he tries to say something genuine, it comes out as a curt “you’re so annoying”. you always laugh and take it as teasing, which never fails to drive him insane.

just a couple days into the mission, kakyoin asked why jotaro was in a constant state of sulking today, and he just muttered, “she said my hat looked stupid. again.”

“…and?” kakyoin questioned, not seeing the difference in your usual banter of choice.

“and i think she meant it.” jotaro huffed, but little did he know that you didn’t. you just thought that he looked cooler without it.

eventually, jotaro decides that maybe star platinum could help. after all, if emotions are synced between the user and stand, maybe his stand could express what he couldn’t? unfortunately… your stand is just as oblivious as you are. if not, worse.

when star platinum tries to offer a gentle touch or a warm look towards you, your stand just tilts her head like, “is there a fight coming? why is he vibrating weirdly..?”

star platinum grows increasingly frustrated, he’d never gotten so blatantly ignored before, he’s use to being the centre of attention all the time. and so, he began mimicking soft gestures, picking flowers, and even trying to physically place one in her hand. however, your stand proceeds to throw it at him because she thought it was an attack test.

you gradually begin to notice that star platinum was constantly hovering closer to your stand, more than usual, causing your mind to overthink of the different possibilities.

“hey, is your stand trying to arm wrestle mine or something?” you ask jotaro one day.

his jaw instantly clenched tight, muttering, “yeah, something like that.”

later, star platinum lets out the most dramatic “oraa..” of despair and agony, and jotaro just sighs. “yeah, i know pal. her stand didn’t get it either.”

that night, polnareff saw you and jotaro with your stands standing together on the edge of a hill, overlooking the sunset. you and jotaro had a girthed gap between you two, but star platinum was evidently trying to hold your hand. polnareff could’ve sworn that he could feel jotaro’s frustration, muttering to joseph, “mon dieu! even his stand gets rejected!”

possibly the most chalant movement made by both star platinum and jotaro himself was during a small fight against an enemy stand user, who turned out to be much more stronger than anticipated.

the enemy was only a young, short, thin man, and so you were more than confident to take him on. although, when he swung his fist towards you and you realised that you were in no position to dodge him, star platinum sprung into action to shield your stand without any hesitation. he took the full brunt of the hit, one that would’ve most definitely caused more damage to him than yourself, as he wasn’t fully prepared to fight and only just blocked the attack that landed directly where jotaro’s sensitive spot is.

once you’d finally taken down the enemy, you were instantly piled with guilt.

“jotaro, you’re injured because of me, why did you come and block that!” you panic, prodding him in the chest whilst trying to control your worry.

jotaro just shrugs, looking away from you with his hat tipped low. “yeah, well. guess star platinum cares about your stand.” he mumbles.

and then, it finally clicks. the first time you finally notice that something is off.

you freeze, your cheeks flushing crimson. “wait- do.. you-?” but your question was immediately cut off by his interruption.

deadpan, but pink-eared, he signs out, “took you long enough.”

you’re silenced, but don’t have a single feeling different than he does. in the background of the scene, your stand and star platinum exchange a victorious high-five before smothering each other.

after his confession, you tease him relentless about it. “so, you’ve been making your stand confess for you?” you giggle, finding it adorable at the same time.

“tsk. worked tho, didn’t it?” he always replies cockily.

despite jotaro’s gruff exterior, he grows softer with you through time. he brushes your hair and takes your makeup off when you’re tired, yet still murmurs ‘good grief’ whenever you make his heart race, even after all these years.

star platinum and your stand? practically inseparable. they’re the equivalent of holding hands 24/7, radiating disgustingly cute comments about each other despite not being able to physically speak, and overall just being the embodiment of your’s and jotaro’s feelings to eachother. however, sometimes it suffocates the pair of you, and you genuinely need to rip them off each other and back into yourselves.
