Of memories and to the future
So I spent the last three hours or so looking through the old art folders I have in my Dropbox (from all the way back to 2015!). Cleaned duplicates and organized it in general and.. I realized how much we have grown together, site users and myself. So many memories come back looking over the old pieces and I find myself feeling like I have gotten old, haha. I remember where each piece was gotten, sold or gifted, and by who. I remember the conversations, good and bad, and the input given by the users involved. So many memories and so much emotion was poured into these pieces. It makes me feel sappy and silly and I wonder myself if it makes me look weird talking about these things…
I suppose the thing I am trying to say is: Thank you for all the users that have commissioned me and worked with me over the years. It's been an amazing journey and I am very thankful to have met so many of you. I look forward to more time with you, be you a commissioner, chatter, or just a general lurker. Thank you for being so patient with me over these years and thank you for being the amazing people that you are. <3
