Drawing Game Instructions

Each player selects a colour to draw with. It does not matter whether two people have the same colour– in fact, everyone could all use the same– colour isn’t relevant. Simultaneously, players draw squares anywhere within the drawing area, the aim of the game is to fill the space with squares whilst making sure no two squares overlap or touch. If they do make contact, the game reverts back to the beginning.

Sourced from the National Archives of Australia (NAA), Voyage is a collection of photographs depicting ships on the horizon line. The horizon lines in the photographs are always at the same height, which is designed to give the illusion of the sea being continuous. A shared voyage across the globe.
