Although Yongguk wasn’t currently promoting with the rest of his group, he would still have to check in here and there to get updates on how things were going with sales and the like. It was always a boring meeting and he was always glad as soon as it ended. As soon as he left, he decided to go ahead and walk around a bit with this being a very populated area of Seoul. Looking around, he had to pause as he saw a familiar face in the crowd. ‘Eunji?’ He thought to himself for a moment. Maybe she remembered him from when B.A.P and Apink filmed that music video together...then again it was a few years back so he wouldn’t blame her if she didn’t. Well, there was no harm in trying so he quickly caught up her before tapping her shoulder lightly. ⟬Eunji? It’s Yongguk. You remember me? How’ve you been doing lately?⟭

sanghyuk and eunji meet during the zombie apocalypse. eunji needs sanghyuk’s help.

he wasn't expecting to find another human on his daily patrol, no way. but somehow — she was there, and she'd managed to survive this long somehow, and there was a part of him that wasn't entirely convinced she was totally human, but — somehow, she'd made it to that point and all it took was a few moments of imagining his older sister in the same situation and his brotherly side took over, hating the thought of someone leaving her behind here to die alone... or even worse, be eaten alive before she gets the chance to die.

"what's your name? ... how long have you been here? have you— it pains me to ask this, but have you been bitten? i'm gonna need you to be honest with me. i won't hurt you. or at least, i'll try not to."

a pair of weapons were slung over his shoulders and securely strapped to his back like some kind of distorted angel wings — a katana and a shotgun were his ways to fly, his chosen method to stay at the top of the food chain in the apocalypse. he doesn't want to turn away from her for even a moment just in case she strikes, but there's a seed growing in his mind that suggests she won't ever be a threat to him.

for each item of the growing list of injuries she gives him, he rummages in his rucksack to find a treatment or an antidote, his brain giving a small sigh of relief when she discloses that she hadn't been bitten at all. "okay... here's a bunch of bandages, disinfectant, stuff like that. once you're all cleaned up i'll bring you back to the camp, but they might want to keep you in quarantine for a while just to be sure."

“ sure or unsure, I won’t back out! ” jaw set and gaze steady, she is a picture of determination. though she possess’ many qualms, her hard working nature often overrides these fears. it possibly helps that she’s in the presence of a senior she very much adores ( what an inspiration , she thinks ! ) and of course she couldn’t let her down !

it’s a difficult song and dictation in a foreign language often weighed heavy in her mind. still, she likes a challenge and vocally, she’d been improving at a rapid rate with all the extra. a lot stronger than how she once was. yes, she was no match for eunji, but their tones weren’t similar and neither were their tastes ( at least , that’s the impression she’s under ) — still this was not a matter of comparison. it was a matter of a junior seeking guidance from a senior ( albeit whilst being a tad bit awestruck in the process ).

she reaches for the water bottle, taking a tentative sip before piping up once again. “ i’m not doing this for anyone else rather than myself and i know this song … no matter what i’m going to strain a little , but every time i see that old performance i honestly cringe and i want to just prove to myself i can do better. you’ll help me though right ? ” an expression of expectancy, she hopes to hear a comforting reply; this plead did not come without another hidden motive — perhaps this time they spend together would ignite a friendship ? she’s optimistic but nervous, balled fists resting upon her lap and the stubborn contortion of features softening slightly with the sunniest of smiles.
