I am shy is this the reason I can't get a job?
Okay, so this a personal post as I have no idea where to put it! So I am 21 years old and I am on Jobseekers Allowance, I have been looking for a job well over a year now! I am having a lot difficult finding one when I shouldn't be having this problem for my age! I have not got a lot of confidence to begin with but I have been shy & quiet all my life, I think that's going to be with me all my life! Everyone now in my family is nagging me as my younger cousins as all have jobs and I am haven't so everyone thinks I am lazy now but I am actually not lazy I do look online all the time as that's all you can do these days as when you go hand in a CV in the shop they tell you got apply online which I think is bullocks as you have the courage to give that CV in them in person!! It gets on my nerves as well! My Aunties' don't understand when I tell them I got to look online as it not like the old days where you can just go in a shop ask for job!! I pretty much don't hear from the majority of jobs I applied for and I can't get back in touch with them either. At this rate I will be jobless for another year which I can't really do I am getting fed up waiting for replies or phone calls, at home all the time! Seriously, when I want to go out to look for one I haven't got the bus fare to go out and the only place I can walk is my nearest local shopping centre!
I am done with my rant and now is there anyone else in the same boat as me or similiar sitaution?
