Prompt 49.

“I know you don’t like sharing, but can you share the blanket? Just this once?” Abby scowls and yanks on the blanket, making Joe snort in his sleep and curl up even closer to her. Exactly like his father, she thinks. Bed hogs. Both of them.

Rolling over, she drags the tiny corner of the blanket she’d managed to get over her shoulder. Rolling her eyes, she tries to sleep again.

Luka watches from the bedroom door, home early from a very rare night shift. He grins at his wife fighting for her share of the blanket and wanders in, crouching next to the bed. Stroking Abby’s temple, he smiles when she opens her eyes.

“Hi. You’re early.”

“Yeah, it was slow. I see my spot has been usurped.”

Abby yawns and reaches over to stroke his hair. “For now. I think you can probably put him in his own bed at this point. He wanted to make sure I wasn’t scared.”

Luka chuckles and bites his lip. “He does the same thing when you work nights.”

Abby smiles when Luka reaches over her and carefully lifts their sleeping son. “He’s just protecting us, Luka.”

He winks at her. “I know. Go to sleep. You can be sure to get your share of the blanket.”

Abby rolls her eyes as he walks out. “For now.” she mutters.

Finally got the Get to Work expansion for Sims 4, and I made a Luka Sim! I love him. Baby Luka. (And yes, his traits are romantic, gloomy, and family-oriented)

I tried to do justice to his apartment, but even using less lighting than I usually do in no way equals the lack of lighting in the show.

after a couple of in-game days, I made an Abby sim. They met at work and she started trying to flirt immediately. (I don’t have a height slider mod, alas. the only thing keeping them from being true to canon minus all the trauma)

they hit it off as friends and ended up hanging out at a dance party, where they had their first kiss. yes, Abby asked him out, as in canon, and they were together so fast. not pictured here, but in the most Luka move ever, sim!Luka started thinking about engagement rings as soon as they slept together.

not long after Joe was born (and he’s adorable! such a good mix of Abby and Luka), Luka got his shit together and proposed!
