Remembering the last Cricket Ball

India's stunning ICC World T20 2007 victory over Pakistan in the final will be commemorated on September 24, 2021. Many new heroes arose from what was India's first and only world title in the shortest format. Joginder Sharma, who bowled the historic final over that culminated to India's victory, was remembered affectionately by supporters even today.When it came to bowling the final over, India captain MS Dhoni had two options, with Pakistan captain Misbah-ul-Haq remaining in the middle. With Pakistan needing 13 runs from the final over to win the match, Dhoni chose the youngster Joginder over the seasoned Harbhajan.

 In 2007 T20 world cup final Pakistan cricketer Misbah ul haq was unhappy and disturbed in the crease to face the last ball to face from Joginder sharma Indian fast bowler, Haq was not only holding the bat he also holding the Pakistan's dream and ambition to beat India in the final. India have the experienced spinner like Harbhajan who left with one over and Debutant Yusuf Pathan who left 3 over to bowl. but Dhoni has different plan in his mind he call Joginder sharma who plays only 4 t20 for India at that time, the plan is very simple to him because Misbah already played spin and Harbhajan well earlier and Sharma gives only 13 runs in his 3 overs, and Misbah didn’t face this bowler anymore. The confidence given by captain was actually executed by the bowler on that day, first ball was a dot one he was beaten, second ball was wide and the Re ball was hit by Misbah to a long on six, that gives merry and happiness to the Pakistan Doug out, the last ball was very crucial and for both the teams India need one wicket and Pakistan needs 6 runs in ball. Misbah plays a scoop shot with confidence but it was a mis hit and ended in the safe hands of S Sreesanth, Indian teammates were covered Joginder with happiness and joy.

The cricket history always remembered Joginder Sharma with the last ball of that world cup, the career of Sharma in domestic cricket 15 years, at the end of the domestic career he got the opportunity he uses that wisely and ended his cricketing career with a swing.

After the WorldCup series he met with a car accident in 2011 he was admitted in the hospital ICU for 5 days and recovered, he faces depression at that time and felt depressed because he thought that his cricketing career was ended,  but the Haryana cricket association helped him for the comeback. He was the Man of the match of the comeback match. Now he was the police officer with the rank DYSP in Haryana police.

Till now it was a gambling moment by Dhoni by giving the last over to Joginder Sharma but wins, till now remembering the cricket by the last ball.
