They Might Be Giants- How Can I Sing Like a Girl?
"I Might Be Giant, Too" was just suddenly rendered creepy to me.
Okay, so, this "They Might Be Giants" song was not performed by They Might Be Giants, but they have used it to open some of their shows in the past. We don't know who performed it; apparently they got sent the song as a gift, but who that was has been lost to the mists of time. For a time Flansburgh attributed it to Deep Blue Something, but they've since said "nope, not us".
So... you'd think, with the band having risen and stuck around and all that since they got the tape back in the late Eighties... wouldn't someone have come forward?
What happened to the performer? Are they dead?

Fucking so happy I got to see them tonight. If this is the only good thing that happens on Spring Break, it'll still make being on break worth it.
also, my girlfriend got to play John Flansburgh's guitar, which made me want to kiss her there on the spot. Also, they played one of my favorite late-TMBG songs, "Withered Hope," which was so fucking good, and it's so rare to see.
