American male model.
John McMurray (02.11.1946 - 19.02.1993)
McMurray was one of the most recognized Male models of the 1970s and early 1980s, appearing on magazine covers of After Dark and GQ, in fashion spreads.
Even before his modeling career, McMurray was well connected, and acted as Ronald Reagan's driver during Reagan's gubernatorial Campaign.
McMurray was a graduate of Brigham Young University. After he ended his modeling career, McMurray entered the fashion publishing business.
Later in his life, he developed Rentinitis Pigmantosa, losing his vision to the disease. He was profiled in 1988 in People Magazine on the loss of his sight.
Survived by life partner, fashion designer Bertram Keeter.
He died of AIDS, aged 46.
