the dissolution of silvermadi’s partnership & love story is so egregious on silver’s part for many many many reasons but the whole ‘flint’s war’ of it all. is so awful. & i know we talk this scene to death to but holy shit. between a war and a wife. i’m going to kill you

because this has been madi’s whole life!! or, nearly her whole life, since leaving nassau, training under her mother’s wing, for this very purpose. and maybe it would have failed. maybe she would’ve have lost her life, or silver’s or flint’s or any or all of them. but by robbing her of the chance (through flint’s end, whatever you believe it to be), silver denies any semblance of hope and agency. choosing between a war and a wife by placing her in a role she never once chose.
