“Shh, rest, you will wake up just fine.”
“–No – I can’t go to sleep…”
Lynn’s resolve was being tested the longer she fought the urge to rest. She was simply too alert, too on edge to let her body ease into a state of peace.

Any odd sleeping habits?
[Most habits are only odd due to how drastically his routine can change from night to night. More often than not however, anything Zep does is a direct result of worry. For example, he’ll leave the door open one night in case the need for a quick escape arises for whatever reason but the next night he might lock the door and check it over and over before nervously settling in, on high alert for anything unusual within the home he considers his safe space.]

Are they comfortable sleeping in a bed that isn’t their own?
[Absolutely not. Unfamiliar surroundings are uncomfortable for the prophet and even the thought of being in such a place when so vulnerable is nearly enough to make Zep panic. If he has to sleep somewhere that’s not home, he’ll sometimes calm enough to drift off if talking to/video chatting with/etc Laura, though having her there with him is obviously preferable.]

“Before you ask, yes. I did take the entire wheelchair apart,” he said, glancing up to her from his spot on the concrete, surrounded by what used to be his only comfortable way to get around the building. He could put it back together. Probably.
“Looking past that and the fact I’m stuck on the floor, check out all this cool shit I got from it. I could make something way better than a wheelchair out of this.”

vinnie sighed softly wishing that amanda would just understand why she was here. “i’m worried about you amanda, i wanted to make sure you’re okay,” her eyes softened as she leant against the door frame. “i know you don’t believe me, but i care,” she said, exasperated by the fact that she was only here because amanda had answered none of her texts nor her phone call.
