The Lord forgives everything, I act.
What grace has Columbia while a corrupted Prophet sits on the throne? This city decays more and more each day as he pollutes the holy waters of baptism with his false love. I feel no repentance in leaving him, for I have redeemed myself from worshipping a man who thinks me a demon. Who looks at me and condemns in profane cries of hate. Yet I only held a mirror up to his true being… showed him what he was… what he will be…for I am no more monster than he is hallowed.
Why must I take this sacrament alone? Is this a heaven so filthy of sin that I can only trust myself to follow your plan Lord? I must find leaders in which I can trust. True loyalty can only be given by those who love. If I am to overthrow Zachary I will need devotion from its people…among the fear of committing sin. I must become the strict parent that holds the hand of the city in a vice... but also nurtures it, gives it food and warmth and love.
Yet I have seen a few shimmers of virtuousness since my return. Songbird – no longer beast but man has sworn his faith to my cause… he will become a valuable piece in my conquest for sanctification. Fitzroy appears to stand beside me also… though I am still disbelieving of her Vox Populi. And until I see them with my own eyes…I will deem her an adversary.
And lastly those newcomers from Rapture I imagine to be so tainted I am not sure they are above redemption. I have seen their mentality and it is… revolting. Their sins will not go unpunished. If they fail to abide my example… may the Lord have mercy on their souls… for I will not.
