You laid with Joji, your bodies intertwined with each other, he was half asleep as he laid his head on your chest, and you stroked his hair. He had had a long day, trying to fit in some filming and writing music, so much that you had to pull him away from his computer to eat dinner and he was visibly stressed.
He was ranting for a while, overwhelmed with the amount of projects he had piling up, but eventually you were able to calm him down to a point he felt that he could sleep.You laid with him, gently rubbing his back and keeping him collected.
He was very sleepy by now, and his breathing had slowed since before hand, where it was nearly like he was hyperventilating beforehand. He now was in a cozy pair of sweatpants, and you gave him favorite blanket to curl up under with you. You kept your arm wrapped around him, scrolling through your phone, while playing some of his favorite music.
“You okay down there, babe?” You asked him, kissing his forehead.
He nodded blissfully, smiling into your shirt. “Thank you honey, this is much nicer.”
Happy to see him smiling, you leaned down to kiss him. “Good, sweetheart. I love you and you need to get your rest.”
Joji held onto you, still, starting to drift off in your arms.
“Go to sleep, sweetie, get some rest, okay?” You said softly to him. “I love you Joji, sweet dreams.”
Before you knew it, he was sound asleep in your arms, his chest gently rising and falling. You smiled and leaned into his hair and fell asleep, too.
