Finding himself not in Tunisia anymore was quite jarring, but Asha was always prepared to just roll with the punches. It came with millennia-worth of experience in having to adapt to His orders whenever He needed him. There had to be a reason the angel was sent to this specific place. From what he could tell, he was somewhere in Russia and a huge battle had just ended. The Vampires were declaring themselves the victors in this war and someone dreadful was about to be decided.
Unable to help himself, Asha started out helping as many people get away as he could. It was difficult, but he decided that he would do his best to protect as many as possible. He had been walking through the village’s market square that day and sensed someone’s fear close by. His empathic abilities allowed him to do so quite easily and he honed in on that feeling to find someone hiding in what looked to be a bakery.
“Whoever it is. I know you’re scared, but I’m not going to hurt you. I want to help you get out of here,” Asha called out as he looked around the deceivingly empty space.
