The Mikaelsons turning up to town was a problem that the people of Mystic Falls didn’t know how to rid themselves of. As resident witch, Bonnie feels pressured by her friends to complete such a monumental task. However, she has bigger problems. Like the younger brother of the Mikaelson clan that she could almost swear she’d seen before.

She just wishes she was wrong about that.

Summary: 'I know you about as well as I know myself, with so many pieces missing from our respective puzzles.'

Kol returns to town with a friend in tow that Bonnie can't help but feel like she knows. Kol's promise to show her some of the magical knick-knacks he's gathered over the centuries leads to Bonnie learning more about her different selves.

Memories of yet another one of Bonnie's reincarnations brings her to the realization that she cannot continue on as she has. With her priorities no longer focused on saving Elena and defeating supernatural big bads, perhaps it's time she started to focus on herself. And what better person to aide her in this than Kol?

Summary: 'Blood clings to you as much as it does me; the difference is mine is mostly my own.'

Just because Bonnie is off coffin duty doesn't mean life in Mystical Falls has gotten any more peaceful. A conversation with Caroline reveals a potential serial killer at large that somehow links back to the mysterious Sage from her and Kol's past. Which in turn invokes memories she'd rather not confront.

Kol leaves Bonnie with a little gift before leaving town on an errand. Gifted with the means of keeping her friends safe even while on the outs with them she works at perfecting the spell only to run into Elijah in the process. The older Original has questions about her involvement with his brothers and what they could be planning…
