IF JON'S LIFE WAS A MOVIE GENRE
Genre: Drama
With all the events that surrounded his childhood and the subsequent incident in the army, going on through life trying to be a good man wasn't such an easy task. There were so many things in him that were inherently bad and others that marked him as no better than a killer due to his lack of control of his ability. As noble and honorable as he could try be, there was also so much darkness nestled in him. The appearance of Quinn Taylor in his life was the biggest turning point that happened to him, having this girl bring light to his existence. And while the struggles and the chaos still beat inside him, at least he discovered thanks to her that it's not all darkness.
If compared to an already existing movie, "Meet Joe Black" would be the closest example. A sublime movie about a man with unimaginable power trying to live a normal life, and somehow, falling in love with a woman who is a spark of light amongst all the death and darkness that have marked his life is also a part of it.
Movie theme song: "Indaco" by Ludovico Einaudi
Jon's relationship with his parents
Jon was born during the time his father was in the army, and as soon as he was born his mother abandoned him to his grandmother's care. He has never known anything about his mother except for two things: her name was Elise Adler and she lived in Germany. Truth be told, he has never cared to know more about a woman who clearly didn't want to be his mother. When it comes to his dad, Jon always speaks of Nathan Wolfe with great admiration, even idealizing a bit the man his father was. Being in the army meant his dad wasn't around much, but the short periods of time that Jon did get to spend with his father are the ones that forged a loving and respectful relationship towards the man. His dad died a hero, and that image he has of his father, of wanting to be as good as Nathan Wolfe was, is what drives Jon even to this day to do what's best for others even if it's not what's best for him.
JON'S SIDE OF THE ROOM
As opposed to Julian's side, his looks pretty empty. After his time in the army he got used to having just the necessary, so that translates to his room. He has no decoration and it is as plain as it can be. Both in Willenhall and in New Orleans it was Quinn the one who gave their house a lively touch through decoration, so he knows it's only a matter of time before she starts to do the same with his room.
