Personally, I think Roger Taylor’s solo career remains heavily underappreciated. While I would not call him George Harrison of the group, the honour goes to John Deacon, his media presence does pale in comparison to Mr. Mercury and Mr. May, but this doesn’t suggest the quality of his works on his own. Actually, his 90’s records give us a strange glimpse of the sonic landscapes visited by Queen with Paul Rodgers, which is why I think he should take the reins of the vocals eventually, though I assume he’s more comfortable being behind the drums. Still, he should sing more in Queen, so I hope Mr. May and Mr. Lambert nudge him to reach this conclusion in case the latest configuration of Queen would ever go to a studio.
