From late elementary school to the beginning of high school, I was a huge fan of Sister Sledge. The "Betcha Say That To All The Girls" album and Prince's "1999" were the my first two cassette tapes I got for Christmas 1983 along with my first Walkman from my sister. I played them to death!! Joni was my favorite of the sisters. She was only 60 when she passed away this weekend. RIP..... #jonisledge #ripjonisledge #musicalinspirations #backintheday
