Fennel because it’s a sweet and fuzzy looking plant. I imagine fennel herself is a chaotic sweetheart really. Tail comes from Redtail! Maybe she was his apprentice, or just super close with him! I love legacy naming man
I made Spottedleaf based a bit off of a sick/infected leaf, while Tigerclaw is of course based off of a tiger (shocking I know)
Their dynamic is super fun to play around with tbh. The banter would be legendary. Even just as childhood crushes, the tragedy and drama of her dying as a result of his actions……….

So to explain her parentage!: I like Ivyblossom as these semi-toxic on-and-off lesbians. During one of their “breakups,” Blossomfall has a fling with the former kittypet (inspired by Bonefall) Fernsong!
The next day, she and Ivy are a thing again, and after a bit… uh oh.
The ladies get their shit together, with Fernsong as a lovely papa who even offered to stay out of the picture (despite desperately wanting to be there for his kits)

We got some lesbians!!! Reedfreckle is super cute tbh, I can absolutely get behind it. I’m a bit of a basic reedmaple or maplefreckle, but tbh any of the three is great.
I imagine that it’d be either Birchface or even Applefusk who would surrogate-sire their kits. Maybe Appledusk doesn’t tell Maple about it because of how possessive she is (doesn’t put him in the right though! Same for her!)
This would also mean Reed uses him as a cover, and then Apple uses her as a cover too.

They all have songbird names because I think that Daisy would name with a theme. And this theme happens to be songbirds. Even though only Finchcrest really looks like her name.
We’ve got Cardinaldust- the goober. The silly. The only tom, a transmasc, of the sisters. He traded genders with his sister Robinberry. They’re best friends for life, Robinberry the troublemaker ringleader while the more cautious Cardinaldust just follows suit. They’re messy and chaotic and the clan loves them so much because they still do their chores and help the elders even when they’re not asked to.
The dust and berry just sounded cute, I have no real justification for the names lol.
Meanwhile, Finchcrest is the neat, prissy outlier to her siblings. She’d probably be best friends with Blossomfall, insulting and judging everybody in sight, until Blossomfall insulted one of her siblings, so they get into a fight and start telling the clan the other is horrendous, and then the next day they’re besties grooming where the other can’t reach (totally not lesbians though… totally……)

Hops is a high energy transmasc farm cat turned kittypet! He visits his dads frequently though! His kittypet name is Panda, after a red panda. He is always getting into some kind of mischief!
Cotton is a deaf, strong kitty who will be running the farm once his dads are gone. His name of course comes from his white fluff- resembling a sheep!
Hops is Raven patterning with Barley coloring (calico!), while Cotton is Barley patterning with Raven coloring!
