So in one of my earlier semesters I had a class with which I went on an excursion to an exhibition about body images in religions, and the first piece of the exhibition happened to be this:
This is, as you might know, an ancient Greek Hermaphrodite (well, this one isn't ancient but a modern recast). Entering the exhibition, our teacher started explaining something about Hermaphodites, and said something along the lines of "this is obviously a fantastical depiction of a human with both male and female characteristics" and I (pre-HRT) was just standing there, holding back my laughs, and then went on to take this picture and send it to my then-gf (on HRT) saying: "omg this is u fr"
You wouldn't believe how fucking funny this was to me xD
