🌲Laken Team🌲 I wanna do more fanart this year! So let's start good with my 'would-be' team for @billfrancois 's Laken Region. Grottunnel was an easy pick, I've loved every version of Staquake, Bellily is just adorable and Drakernel, well as an Applin convergent I'm just very biased.

Hope to make more fanart this year between projects and products. Gotta show artists how much I like their projects, right?

📺"It's TV Time!"📺 New mug time~!! This one was originally one of the wooden standees introduced at HDCC last November. But I wanted to make it available as a mug also~!! I should think about making acrylic standees of these as well; love the woodwork, but it is rather costly and time consuming. Anyway, on to preparations for Heroes Made in Asia next weekend~!!

🍎Appletun Ability Forms~!!🍎 Finally a break from the Convention Illustrations, I decided to jump on the #abilityforms bandwagon started by @n0rtist ~!! Appletun is one of my fave Pokémon, as most of y'all know, the forms are based around different Apple pie-esque dishes: Ripen takes after baked apples, with a hint of Apple cider, like a fermenting fruit with an extra Applin making use of the soft apple. This results in a smaller form and wonkier movements. Gluttony is based around Apple pie A la mode, making him even more sweet. I made its tail more reminiscent of Applin's, a nod to a hungry wurm. It's covered in cream and is more chunky, being even less energetic. Thick Fat is based around a Tarte Tatin; the ability makes it more resistant against Fire and Ice type attacks, resulting in a more solid body and shorter limbs/tail/ ears. This one is the roundest of them all. It was a really fun exercise in design, changing a design so dear to me .w.!!

🍄Parasect Girl🍄 Because nobody makes them like @billfrancois makes them~!! Slowpoke Girl and Co. is such a lovely series, the comedy is perfect and the character designs are really cute and elegant. Parasect girl is my favorite, as a fan of the Parasline. Also she's a menace to society (read; fanfiction writer/ enabler), which is always alot of plusses in my book. It has been such a long time since I made fanart for other artists. Hopefully this can become a trend again this year while juggling the other projects ^^;;

⛈️Hollow Knight: Dewstorm⛈️ A little fanproject I have been toying with for the past couple months (before Sea of Sorrow was announced, I promise), focusing on Quirrel from the original Hollow Knight. It's kind of a spoiler, but with Quirrel's conclusion in that game, I felt that, while his arc was complete, that there was more potential, and others seem to think the same. This scenario would be both a second chance for him, as well as his road to glory. No longer being just an observer to the plot, but being the catalyst for something grand and new. I have some idea's for mechanics, but I lack some basics such as a name for the setting or specific areas within it. It would be very wet, and extremely dry at the same time. Who knows what I'll do with this, but I had to get it out of my system~!!

🧵Hollow Knight: FLEAS!!🧵 Simple, yet elegant; the Flea quest was one of my fave parts of Silksong~!! I also added some new buttons of beloved NPC's~!! Had to make a bag pattern for it (though warning; mild spoilers for Act 2) I got good at the platforming, I beat the bosses, and now I hope for DLC ;w;!! Silksong was an amazing experience, and this won't be the last fanart I'll be making~!!

👻Greavard Ability Forms~!!👻 I really wanted to do another one, this time Greavard!! The idea for Fluffy hit me like a truck, while Pickup was a bit of a challenge. #abilityforms is a cool challenge started by @n0rtist . The fur on the body of a Greavard with the Pickup ability is a bit more curly, making it easier for items to get stuck in it. Its candle shines brighter and it has a heightened sense of smell. I thought it was cool if Revives, items that are rather common when using this ability, would just grow from its fur due to its connected with life and death. For the Fluffy ability, I also made use of them being shaggy, but now picking up fluffs, leaves, bugs and twigs, all things which add to its floof, but also highly flammable (because while Physical Defense is raised with this ability, Fire-type attacks hit twice as hard). Got kinda obsessed with this challenge, but I think I got all of it out of my system~!!

👻Mega Froslass used Icy Wind👻 Happy Halloween y'all~!! Did you get a chill? Had a whole lot of ideas for the post today, but I ended with one of the most iconic Mega Evolutions from Legends; Z-A~!! Back the my "Ukiyo-E -esque" style for this piece. I've been a big Froslass fan since Sinnoh, and this new Mega does her justice~!! Happy Hauntings, don't eat too many sweets~!!
