"Left hand path"; was born about 4 years ago, for the desire to start a photographic project that did not revolve around a concrete and clear discourse, where spontaneity, freedom and sensations prevailed, leaving aside the technique, planning, etc., with which I had become obsessed. I was in a period of creative crisis that already lasted several years, photographically I was stagnating and I thought it would be a good idea to return to my origins. I found out that he had taken me out of my way, and I tried to go back to him. All the photos that compose this work have been made with mobile phones, and I also did the postproduction with these. In "Left hand path"; I carry out a kind of inner exploration, an intimate diary created with sensations. Nothing is planned here, everything is spontaneous: I see, imagine and shoot. And I get excited. And this is a very, very important thing for me. "Left hand path"; refers to a term whose meaning has always attracted me, and which is generally used in magic and esoteric circles, among which Satanism is framed. Traditionally, since antiquity we have linked the left hand with the impure, dirty, and even unlucky. In this photobook the sexual, religious and esoteric references, symbols and metaphors are clear, elements that I use involuntarily and naturally.
