She had been out walking back from the bookstore when she ran into Joseph and the two of them got to talking. They eventually came across a group of rowdy men outside a bar, which frightened Liv. She found herself in a situation like this once before, and it would have ended up a lot worse if a friend of hers hadn’t stepped in. Hearing Joseph tell her to hold his hand, Liv hesitated for a moment before placing her dainty hand in his. He must have been able to tell she was feeling uneasy. “Thank you,” the blonde said, an appreciative smile on her face.

“I didn’t have one. Growing up, I just wanted the hell outta Arizona. A job wasn’t part of the plan.”
Marley x Joseph
Falls asleep on the couch: Joseph does, but when Marley asks him if he wants to go to bed, he swears he isn’t asleep.
Makes friends with the neighbors: Marley, and drags Joseph over to meet their new friends.
Is the adventurous eater: Marley is, which he is probably surprised by, with the amount of diner food she eats.
Hogs the covers at night: Because of their size difference, Joseph just ends up with them no matter how much Marley tries.
Forgets to do the dishes: Joseph, and has to make it up to Marley (who really forgot to do the dishes but convinced him he did).
Tries to surprise their partner more often: Marley.
Leaves dirty laundry on the floor: Marley, but if he got mad at it, she’d just start to undress until he forgot what he was mad about in the first place.
Stays up til 2 AM reading: Joseph, and Marley’s curled up to him asking him to just go to sleep (or not sleep, with her).
Sings in the shower: Marley, and loudly, even if he’s still sleeping.
Takes the selfies: Neither!
Plans date night: Joseph!
