logan calls her josie because of his aunt josephine who had always liked the nickname; she died when he was young and she was one of his favourite people, one of the only people who didn't blame him when jude disappeared. and since jo is one of the kindest people he knows now that the name seems to fit pretty well too.

when they kissed at the new years party all those years ago, logan had been embarrassed -- but only because it was his first kiss at all.

after reconnecting, logan likes to text josephine funny cat pictures or dogs he saw in the street that remind him of her dogs. he's not an animal person at all but he does have a soft spot for dorky kittens.

logan is less of a shut in after reconnecting too; he does go to new york and branches out a little. he's thinks about asking her to come back to westchester with him to visit but decides against it at the last minute and just gets on his flight home anyway.
