sweet jesus, that show was fantastic.

amazing, AMAZING show tonight. after years of waiting, i have finally popped my TVT live cherry, and it was good. josh kept shit sweet, funky, and solid,  matt brought a ridiculous amount of energy (via wu tang clan, who aint nothin to fuck with), deitz was beast, as expected, and judah was the greatness that is judah. i heard all but one of my favorite songs even, which was unexpected and totally amazing. (fingers crossed for red, like roses some day...) afterwards, i met each of the dudes and they were cool as one could hope for. there was even talk of work on a full length, which was nice to hear straight from the band. more velvet teen music = yay. 

this first TVT show will most certainly not be my last. anyone in driving distance, please don't miss the next tvt show near you. i know of some folks (like the owner of that there  fuckyeahthevelvetteen)  would probably be willing to lose, or at least lend a limb out for them to come around their neck of the woods, so if you're within a few hours, no excuses.

p.s.: go see themes live some time. they're pretty much awesome. if denali and murder by death had a beautiful music baby, i think it would sound much like themes. #winning
