a couple things i better see in the south carolina game

1.) we better screen n help azzi fudd get open looks bc shes a SHOOTING GUARD n im tired of her passing the ball all the time. She should take ATLEAST 5 threes in this south carolina game idgaf. also if azzi starts making shots the rest of the team calms down so we need that.

2.) my queen jana better get QUALITY minutes bc my girl boxes out and is aggressive in getting rebounds. she also understands how to screen n does her job well. last game her minutes were very influential to the win so we r gonna need more of her production.

3.) no offense but i was not impressed in south carolinas defense against tcu. if we can make our threes i think we win no problem. HOWEVER if we cannot shoot we need to transition into the screen to midrange bc honestly south carolinas guards are average defenders no offense 🤷‍♀️

in addition to that, i think as long as our bigs (serah, sarah, jana, & blanca) go up strong in the post i dont see much of an issue for them. although offensively south carolinas bigs r a problem. once they get the ball they usually dont look to pass so if we can send a double they will likely travel n if we can force turnovers that would be great!

4.) now defensively i dont know if south carolina can handle the press so we r going to need to pressure them. We are going to need to play disciplined on defense n stay with our matchups. NO STUPID FOULS 🙏 we need to make sure tessa johnson doesnt get hot early n limit joyce edwards as much as possible. BIGGEST THING ON DEFENSE IS REBOUNDING!!! we cannot let south carolina get second chance opportunities, its gotta be one and done.

5.) this is for kk, kayleigh, blanca & azzi especially bc they handle the ball most but NO STUPID TURNOVERS. again we do not want south carolina getting extra possessions

those are the 5 keys to winning the game and i will bet on uconn every time! i really hope we CRUSH south carolina bc i hate them n make it to the natty! thats all i have n hopefully geno wont make any stupid coaching decisions thats all ima say 🤷‍♀️

Y’all, as the college wbb season gets closer, just a reminder that players are human before they’re athletes. It’s easy to get caught up in the online noise, but even small comments can hit deep and everyone’s fighting battles we don’t see. Please remember to keep it respectful. Y’all can be critical without getting nasty, cheer for your team without putting other people down. Women sports and women in general already gets a lot of negative attention and vitriol for no reason, let’s not amplify that hate. Once again, lead with kindness always.

Joyce Edwards and Sarah Strong are by FAR my favorite freshman. The whole SC team carried during the 3rd/4th Quarter. The fact that Joyce saw A’ja Wilson in the crowd while she watched her as a girl is such a beautiful full circle moment. Along with Rickea Jackson, Allisha Gray and Aaliyah Boston, and Allisha got engaged today!!!
