Gotta love it when things get so corroded they basically fuse together and become a right bitch, if not flat-out impossible, to unscrew. School that owns this particular instrument only wanted the busted 2nd tuning slide soldered back on, and not a full cleaning, so I may just leave this mess for Future Me to deal with instead.
