@jrfred tagged me for a stop drop selfie. I had to run out to the shop for a second so I have my safety side shields on. I am so cool. Let's see, jrfred is from Missouri. I am from Missouri. Let's keep it in the Missouri realm? I tag @lizdoeslife and anyone else from this state. :)
Either way, you'll get pulled in—you won't want to break the streak, even if that means getting up super-early before a long car ride to squeeze in your mile. If you do this Streak, and do it smart, you'll emerge from the holiday season unscathed, and maybe even fitter than you were before.
I'm thinking about doing this. I'm debating. I really want to but honestly, the thought of bundling up every single day just to get in a mile is a major deterrent.
Ideally, I'd like to force myself to be a morning miler. It would basically mean Monday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday I would need to put in at least 1 mile. I could use the "it's only one mile" argument to get myself out of bed those mornings before work. The problem is that I never actually get up. So this challenge is two-fold. Early mornings and at least one mile everyday.
Is anyone else doing this? Jason? Laura? Jason? Patricia? Can we start some sort of club where the penalty for not getting in your mile is something severe?
This morning I begrudgingly dragged my ass out of bed, put on my sweaty tights and did 5k. Then I tried MS Painting my head onto a turtle's body for your enjoyment. I did bad. Who's running with me in Indy?
