A/N: Another entry for @marvelfluffbingo and a song for @archiveofourown73‘s blog revamp challenge using the song ‘Forever Young’ by Bob Dylan (Two birds, one stone)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Your entire body ached as you walked into your apartment after your first day back to work. You knew it wouldn’t be easy going back to work after your maternity leave but you didn’t have a choice. Just like you expected, your house looked even more disastrous than it had that morning.
Empty bottles littered the tables in your living room along with burping cloths, blankets, and stuffed animals galore. You were at least somewhat grateful that there were no dirty diapers to pick up on your way to the kitchen but when you stepped into that room, you instantly changed your mind because you didn’t want to be bothered to do all the dishes Bucky had left behind.
“I’m home.” You called out weakly as you headed down the hall toward your bedroom. You heard your husband’s soft, deep voice from the nursery singing the song that you sang to your daughter every night.
‘May God bless and keep you always
May your wishes all come true.
May you always do for others and let others do for you
May you build a ladder to the stars and climb on every rung…”
As if he sensed your presence, he looked up at you with a giant smile on his face and turned so that you could see your tiny baby girl in his arms.
‘and may you stay forever young.’
“Missed you.” You whispered softly as he walked toward you slowly.
“We missed you.” He responded as he leaned forward and gave you a chaste kiss. You looked down at baby Bex with a giant smile as he continued to hum your song. She looked up at you with her daddy’s beautiful blue eyes and your heart melted. You bent down and gave her a gentle kiss on the forehead before standing up straight to keep singing.
‘May you grow up to be righteous, may you grow up to be true
May you always know the truth and see the lights surrounding you
May you always be courageous stand upright and be strong
And may you stay forever young’
As you sang the final verse with Bucky, Bex’s eyelids finally started to flutter closed. She yawned and stretched in his hold before curling up against his chest and putting her hand flat on her cheek the way you did when your slept. You brushed your fingertips across her cheek and gave her one final kiss before Bucky walked over and laid her down gently in her crib. He tiptoed out of the room and closed the door softly just as you both sang the last words of the song.
“Long day?” You asked as you leaned on the wall across from Rebecca Marie Barnes’ bedroom door and looked at the Bex lettering Steve had made for her. You husband sighed and nodded as he leaned against the wall beside you.
“I don’t know how you do it, doll.” He sighed as he put his arm around your shoulder and pulled you into his side. “Can I go back to work instead?” You smiled and nodded your head.
“Absolutely. I don’t wanna spend another day away from her ever again.” The pair of you stood there for a moment before you pat his chest and pushed yourself off the wall. “But you still have to clean up the kitchen and the living room. That was the deal.”
“Damn it.” He grumbled as he pushed himself off the wall as well. “I was hoping to just accidentally on purpose forget it…”
“Nice try, Buck.” You said as you paused in your bedroom door and looked back at him. “I told you being a house wife with a newborn isn’t easy.”
A/N: This is story number 1 of stories for @ravenangel33 and my blog revamp challenge for @archiveofourown73! The song was ‘Get Up’ by Cole Swindell.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Tortuga; the biggest country music festival in existence. It had taken you almost a year of planning, prepping, white lies, and promises to pull the secret off. You had told your boyfriend you were simply going on a five day cruise to the Bahamas for his and your birthdays that year and planned the entire trip around him being able to see Tim McGraw live at Tortuga. And as your boat captain aimed your water taxi boat toward the shore line of Ft. Lauderdale beach, you knew you had pulled off the greatest early birthday present ever.
“Babe.” Chris said as he looked between you and the main stage. You smiled and nodded your head as he pulled off his sunglasses in shock. “Babe!”
“Yea, sweetheart.”
“Shut up.” You giggled and nodded as you grabbed your backpack and flung it over your shoulder so you could still go through it.
“We’re just here for today because our cruise leaves tomorrow. Here, you need this.” He looked back at you with a giant goofy grin as you held out your hand for his arm while showing him the blue wristband you had registered a few months before.
“I so love you right now.” He said as he kissed your forehead while you put his wristband on for him.
“Happy birthday, baby.” You smiled up at the love of your life, who towered over you by at least eight inches and he gave you a chaste kiss as you pulled up to the shore. You were quickly met by Tasha, who was the Tortuga employee that you had been talking to for months. She had been an angel helping to organize your arrival and guaranteed that you could keep your celebrity boyfriend’s privacy so that he could enjoy the concert and not spend the entire time being bombarded.
“(Y/N)?” She asked, obviously recognizing Chris and not his tiny, not famous girlfriend. You nodded at her as she gestured for you to follow her toward the VIP entrance. “You pulled it off?”
“I pulled it off.” You giggled as you slid your wristband into place. “Wasn’t easy but I did it.” With a laugh, she paused behind a small, blue tent.
“Well I’m glad. So, this is you guys. I kinda got you all set up with snacks and drinks so you can just sit back and relax. If you need anything, you’re more than welcome to adventure out on your own and if you don’t want to do that, Matthew who is the cabana bartender for your cabana, is supposed to check on you frequently and he’ll get you whatever you need. Bathrooms are down this stretch on the right; they’re VIP only so you won’t have super long lines. Once again, if you need anything and Matthew’s not available, please call me. And the first band should start in about ten minutes.”
“Thank you so much. You have been amazing.” You said as she pulled back the corner of the curtain for you.
“My pleasure! Have fun!”
“I can’t believe you did this.” Chris said as he stepped into your tent behind you. Your smile grew impossibly larger as you looked around at the Tortuga flags that were being used to section off your tent a bit more for privacy and the giant crowd in front of you.
“Do you even know who is preforming?” You laughed as you went over and grabbed two Corona beers from the cooler that was along the wall.
“Do I even care?” He laughed as he walked up to the fence that ran along the front of the line of cabanas. You smirked, knowing that when the last performer started he absolutely would care.
“Cheers, my love.”
——
“So who’s playing next?” Chris asked as the two of you sat on your cabana couch eating jerk chicken from one of the booths for dinner. You smirked and shrugged as you popped the last piece of chicken in your mouth. You grabbed your Funky Buddha beer, which had already started to get warm in the Florida heat.
“See, this is why I hate Florida.”
“Here, use my fancy new koozie.” You smirked as he pulled the white koozie off his drink and put it on yours.
“You’re such a gentleman.” He hummed as he set his drink down on the table and kissed your cheek as the next performer was being introduced. You jumped to your feet and followed him to the rail; knowing that this was the moment that the entire day was about. Just as the opening cords of ‘Shotgun Rider’ started playing, the man standing on the other side of the rail picked his girl friend up and put her up on his shoulders directly in front of your view. You forced a smile on your face as Chris cheered for his favorite singer but it didn’t go unnoticed.
“This is awesome!” He yelled over the music as he glanced down at you. “Babe?”
“I can’t see.” You had barely had finished the sentence as Chris crouched down beside you.
“Get up. Hurry up, I’m missing Tim!” You burst out laughing as you used the fence to scramble up on to his shoulders. You gently gripped his hair as he stood up straight, sending you six plus feet into the air; a good foot taller than you normally stood. With a laugh, you kissed your hand and touched his forehead as he glanced up at you through his lashes. “You good?” You smiled and nodded.
Warning: clueless, yet sweet Jack, a lot of fluff, Gabriel and Castiel are good uncles/father figures.
A/N: This is for @archiveofourown73‘s Blog Revamp Writing Challenge. This was a lot of fun to write; I never really wrote for Jack himself, so I hope did good.
Ever since Jack started living at the Bunker, he started to notice a few things. Every time (Y/N) was in the room, his stomach felt like it was fluttering or something. His cheeks would get hot and red in appearance when she'd smile his way. He'd get all shaky and stumble over his words when she was talking to him. He didn't know what was happening to him. So he went to ask Castiel for advice. He didn't want to ask her brothers in case they told her anything.
Jack found Castiel in the living room with Mary and the recently added Gabriel, who was recovering still from his ordeal with Asmodeus. He liked his uncle; he was a lot of fun and always had candy. When he came into the room, their conversation stopped.
“Hello Jack. What's the matter? You look lost,” Mary asked, standing up to approach the boy.
“But I'm not lost. I'm right here,” he stated, tilting his head in confusion.
“Oh no, honey. I meant that you looked like you needed help with something. Is there anything we can help with?” Mary simplified, bringing him over to where they were sitting. Mary took a seat next to him across from the angels.
“I think I'm getting sick. My stomach feels like it's fluttering or something. I get all shaky and my face gets red. Am I sick?” Jack explained, a little scared for their response.
He didn't expect Gabriel to start laughing. “Oh that's too cute! Jackie, does this happen when you're near someone in particular?” They all have an idea as to who may have him acting this way, but they need him to say it.
“Yes. Whenever I'm around (Y/N). I feel, vulnerable around her. Is this normal?”
“Oh, Jack. It's normal. What you just described, people tend to call it a “crush”,” Mary explained, gently squeezing the boy's hand.
“But I don't want to crush (Y/N). I feel like I want to hold her hand and be near her.” Jack was very concerned. Did these feelings mean something bad?
“Jack, a crush is used to describe having feelings for someone. It means you're in love with (Y/N),” Castiel simplified for him.
“And that's good, right?”
“Good? It's great! Our boy is growing up, Cassie!” Gabriel exclaimed dramatically, pretending to wipe tears away from him eyes.
“Ignore him, Jack. But yes, it's good. Have you tried telling (Y/N) how you feel?” Castiel asked, pushing Gabriel off of his shoulder.
“No, I haven't. I wanted to, but every time, my mouth goes dry and I can't say anything,” his eyes fell to his lap.
“You don't have to rush it, Jack. You can tell her when you're ready. Love isn't something to be rushed. I'm sure you'll know when the time is right,” Mary stated, wrapping her arm around his shoulders. She was right, but how will he know?
It had been two days since their conversation and Jack was wondering to himself how to tell (Y/N) when every thought faded. There was a singing...fish-woman...on the television screen, (Y/N) sitting on the couch. She seemed to be glued to whatever was on the screen. Jack found himself wondering closer to the couch, trying to understand what he was seeing.
“What is this?” he wondered out loud, startling (Y/N).
“Jesus! Oh Jack, you scared me,” she breathed a sigh of relief when she saw the you nephilim behind her, “it's a movie called “The Little Mermaid”. It's an old Disney movie.”
“Mermaid?” he asked, taking a seat next to her as she paused the movie before clicking a few buttons and bringing it back to the home menu.
“A mermaid is a mythical creature that has the top half of a woman and the bottom half of a fish. There are stories about them being good, being evil, or being more fish like than human. It's all strange, but to kids, mermaids are awesome,” she explained as the movie started up again.
Throughout the movie, Jack would ask questions and she'd answer. It was actually adorable how enthralled he was with the movie. Castiel and Gabriel were looking for them, but when they found them watching a Disney movie, they left them alone. But not without forging a plan to get the two together.
*The Next Day*
“I'm telling you Sam, it would be good for him to get out of here. Explore a little,” Gabriel bargained, watching as the moose of a man flip through books for any case references.
“I don't know, Gabe. I'd like for him to get out, too, but someone has to go with him,” Sam reasoned, looking up at the archangel.
“Well, duh! I'm not going to let him go out by himself. (Y/N) is going to be with him and Cassie and I are going to chaperone them.”
“So like a date?” Sam smirked, watching as Gabriel just realized what he said.
“Basically. I'm sure you two realized that Jackie boy has some feelings for (Y/N),” Gabe shrugged, sitting on the edge of the table next to the hunter.
“I have noticed. I've also noticed (Y/N) looking at him when she thinks no one is watching. As long as one of you is with them, I'm fine with it. Dean is a different story, though.”
Well, it took a little more convincing on his part, but when Jack had accidentally overheard that Gabe and Cas were taking him and (Y/N) on a day out on the town, he got excited. Too excited.
“Really?!” his joyful yell caught their attention and he suddenly found the ground fascinating as a blush spread across his cheeks. Whoops.
“Alright, they can go. Just keep an eye on them, alright?”
Everything was going according to plan. Gabriel took (Y/N) and Mary out shopping that day to get an outfit. (Y/N) didn't know why she needed a new outfit, especially a dress or skirt, but neither her friend nor mother were giving her any answers. While they were out, Cas planned a day with Jack, who took inspiration from the movie they had watched. Which worked perfectly because there was a festival happening at a nearby town alongside a river. It was perfect.

With the help from Mary, (Y/N) wore a dress similar to Ariel's blue dress from the village. Her hair was pulled back into a braid with a blue bow and just a little makeup. Jack wore a simple white button down shirt and a nice pair of slacks. Gabriel drove them to the town where the festival was happening and let them wonder around while he and Cas watched from a distance.
There you see her
Sitting there across the way
She don’t got a lot to say
But there’s something about her
And you don’t know why
But you’re dying to try
You wanna kiss the girl
They had sat down for some lunch, talking and enjoying the music around them. But Jack kept thinking about the movie and how to tell the girl across from him how he felt. And right now, he wanted to kiss her, but he didn't know how. (Y/N) wasn't the one who didn't have a lot to say; it was him.
“Hey Jack. Wanna go see the horses over there?” she suggested, pointing over in the direction of a carriage ride down the street.
“S-Sure. I'd like to,” he agreed, allowing (Y/N) to pull him down the street towards these massive, yet gentle beasts. He almost didn't know she was holding his hand until they came to a stop by the carriage.
“Well hello there! Would you two like a ride?” the carriage man asked, smiling at the couple. Jack looked behind him towards Cas and Gabe, who gave him a smile and the go-ahead.
“Yes, we would. Thanks you,” he replied, helping (Y/N) into the carriage before climbing in after her. He thought his uncles were joining them, but they took a seat on a bench to wait for them.
Yes, you want her
Look at her, you know you do
It’s possible she wants you, too
There is one way to ask her
It don’t take a word
Not a single word
Go on and kiss the girl
It was so peaceful, watching the horse trot along as the driver explained some of the sights around them. He was just as amazed by everything as (Y/N) was; both of them taking in everything. Jack looked over at her as she gave a laugh and waved back to some children who waved at them. When she turned back around to look at him, Jack smiled and looked at his lap, a blush working it's way onto his face. If only he knew how (Y/N) felt about him; especially when he got shy like this. Both wanted to say the words, to give a sign that they liked each other, but they couldn't. Not yet.
The carriage returned to the spot they took off from and they disembarked before finding their guardians. The two angels took them down the block, stopping at a few stores and booths along the way. Jack had found this lovely mermaid necklace ironically and asked Castiel if it would be perfect for (Y/N). With a smile, Cas pulled put a five dollar bill and handed it to the vender, who wrapped it up for him. Meanwhile, Gabriel was trying to get (Y/N) to buy some candy for Jack, but she knew what she was looking for. A seashell bracelet.
They continued walking before (Y/N) let out a small squeal of excitement. There was a dance happening at the end of the street. She grabbed Jack's hand and tried tugging him over to where the others were at.
“C'mon Jack! Let's dance!” she pleaded as she got him moving.
“I-I-I don't know how to though,” he confessed, but she smiled nonetheless.
“I'll show you.”
Sing with me now
Sha-la-la-la-la-la
My, oh, my
Look at the boy too shy
He ain’t gonna kiss the girl
Sha-la-la-la-la-la
Ain’t that sad
Ain’t it shame, too bad
You gonna miss the girl
Getting him to the dance floor was easy enough. Actually getting him to dance, a whole new problem. Jack shyly looked around at the other couples and tried to figure out how to copy their moves, but almost tripped over his feet trying. (Y/N) steadied him and took one of his hands.
“Like this. Place this hand on my hip,” she stated as she manipulated his hand into place, “and this one,” lifting his free hand, “holds mine like this. See, not so hard. Now, just follow my lead. I know, the guy's supposed to lead, but just follow me and let the music guide you.”
“How?” he tilted his head to the side as they slowly begun to move to the music.
“Just don't think about the movements. Just enjoy the moment and before you know it, you'll be dancing.”
Cas and Gabriel watched from the sidelines as (Y/N) taught Jack how to dance. Some of the other couples and families watching couldn't help but smile at Jack's shyness and (Y/N)'s patience with him. One woman said it was cute seeing him look so in love with her. She wasn't wrong though.
Jack was having the time of his life dancing with (Y/N). Her laughter made his chest flutter as he successfully twirled her around. He was getting the hang of this. Now if only telling her was as easy as this.
Now’s your moment
Floating in a blue lagoon
Boy, you better do it soon
No time will be better
She don’t say a word
And she won’t say a word
Until you kiss the girl
Somehow they ended up in a little row boat on the river. (Y/N) offered to row it, but Jack took the oars himself and rowed them to a little secluded lagoon not too far from where they started. There was a large willow tree with these beautiful white flowers dangling around them. It was so peaceful.
Jack was happily asking questions that (Y/N) had no problem answering. But internally he was fighting with himself. If he didn't say anything soon, it would be too late. (Y/N) will never know that he liked her.
Having seen this as a possibility, Gabriel told Cas “I'll be back” before disappearing. Castiel could only sigh as he had an idea to what his brother had in mind. He didn't bother going after him. Castiel was smart enough to not get dragged into Gabriel's schemes. Well, he was now.
Gabriel shifted into a blue bird that sat on a branch above the two. He could see them holding hands as they talked, but letting go after a moment. “Time for drastic measures.”
Sha-la-la-la-la-la
Don’t be scared
You got the mood prepared
Go on and kiss the girl
Sha-la-la-la-la-la
Don’t stop now
Don’t try to hide it how
You wanna kiss the girl
Sha-la-la-la-la-la
Float along
Listen to the song
The song say kiss the girl
Sha-la-la-la-la-la
Music play
Do what the music say
You wanna kiss the girl
Gabriel started singing, sparking up other birds to start singing as well. Well, there were a lot of whistles and chirps. He was actually singing.
“Did you hear that?” Jack asked, looking around for the voice. (Y/N) only smiled and shrugged her shoulders. In all honesty, she did hear Gabriel singing, but didn't say anything. Watching as Jack tried to find his uncles voice but couldn't.
“Jack, hey. Is there something you wanna tell me?” she prodded, taking one of his hands in hers. He looked at her in shock, eyes wide as he scratched at the back of his neck.
“Um...yeah...there is. (Y/N) I...”
“Yes?”
You’ve got to kiss the girl
Why don’t you kiss the girl
You gotta kiss the girl
Go on and kiss the girl
Gabriel watched, smiling at how shy his nephew was. (Y/N) was perfect for him.
Jack let out a small sigh before taking (Y/N)'s free hand, rubbing a thumb over her hand. He knew what he wanted to say, but nothing was coming out. He was at a loss. Until (Y/N) got his attention.
“Jack?” He met her eyes, head tilting slightly in confusion. (Y/N) gave him a small smile before leaning in slowly. Jack slowly leaned in to meet her, but stopped short. Was this okay?
Any negative thoughts left his mind as (Y/N) placed a small, gentle kiss to his lips. She pulled back a little to give him a chance to respond. His response was leaning forward again and captured her lips in a sweet, yet shy kiss. Gabriel took that as his cue to leave, returning the Castiel's side.
“I take it went well?” he asked, already knowing the answer by his brother's grin.
“Yep. Now we just wait for them to return the boat. I knew this was going to work!” he boasted, a smug grin on his face.
“Actually, this was my idea. You just went along with it,” Cas deadpanned, choking on his laughter when Gabriel gave him a heat less glare all while mumbling under his breath about “disrespectful little brothers”.
Jack had rowed the boat back to the dock before getting out as the dock master moared it to the post. Offering his hand, he helped (Y/N) out of the boat and they walked hand-in-hand over the where the angels stood.
“Did you too have a good time?” Castiel wondered, taking notice of their intertwined hands.
“Yes, we did. It was a lot of fun!” Jack exclaimed, jumping a little with joy. (Y/N) laughed at his happiness before turning to Gabriel.
“Nice singing, Gabriel.” Her honesty shocked him as he floundered trying to cover up what he did. Jack didn't notice as he was talking to Castiel about something.
“How did you...?”
“If you were trying to only let Jack know, next time, use angel radio. You projected. But thank you.”
Gabriel couldn't help but laugh as he shook his head. (Y/N) was definitely a smart cookie. And a perfect match for his nephew without a doubt. By the days end, the four of them made their way home. (Y/N) and Jack had fallen asleep in the back off the car, their hands connected as (Y/N) laid her head on Jack's shoulder, his head resting on hers.
It would take a little convincing on her part to get her brothers to let her be with Jack, with a little help from Mary. But it won't be too hard once they see the two of them dancing around the living room to another movie soundtrack. The seashell bracelet standing out on Jack's wrist as the light bounced off of (Y/N)'s mermaid necklace.
While he might not have made the first move, he definitely got to kiss the girl.
Summary: You and Bucky used to be in love, but went separate ways when you two seemed to want different things, now it’s four years later and you run into each other at a bar.
Pairing: Bucky x reader
Word Count: 1,992
Warnings: Swearing, smut, 18+, NSFW, cheating
A/N: This is my submission for @archiveofourown73‘s Blog Revamp challenge! My song was Closer by The Chainsmokers. I hope you guys enjoy! @ravenangel33 @buckyscrystalqueen
You and Bucky Barnes were once the perfect couple. You were young and in love and that’s where everything went wrong. He had a drinking problem and you wanted bigger and better things, so that’s what you did. You packed up your broke down car and went out to see the world. Leaving him was one of the hardest things you ever did, but with his drinking and his seeming to want to go nowhere with his life, it drove you away.
Now it was four years later and you had a completely different life.
You were meeting your friends Nat and Wanda to discuss wedding things at a hotel bar in Manhattan, your fiance was at a conference for the weekend. It was nice to just be with the girls for awhile. It had been so long since you'd seen them. You sit at the table sipping your martini giggling over something Nat just said.
“Oh my god.” Across the room you see someone that brings up a whole lot of old memories. Your eyes lock on him as he approaches the bar, when he sees you he stops dead in his tracks.
“Y/N? Is that you?” He walks over to the table.
“James.” You stand up too quickly almost spilling your drink. You couldn't believe it was him, or how good he looks. How he still made you feel all tingly.
“God look at you, you look gorgeous.” Bucky smiles at you.
“And you, you look great.” The words are coming out of your mouth but it still doesn't feel like he's standing there talking to you. “These are my friends, Natasha and Wanda, ladies this is James Barnes.”
“Call me Bucky.” He says as he shakes their hands. “Um, y/N, can we catch up? What has it been four years?”
“Can you excuse me for a moment?” you say to the girls, when they nod you follow Bucky to the bar and sit with him. “So what have you been up to?”
“Well I'm not an alcoholic anymore, I'm a CEO of a big corporation in Boston, I own a boat.” He laughs a little and takes a sip of the whiskey he just ordered. “Don't worry I'm not falling off the wagon, I'm aloud a casual drink every now and then.”
“Buck I'm so proud of you, CEO that's impressive.” You put your hand on his arm and smile, he looks down at it and that's when his smile fades.
“That's quite the rock.” He swallows hard. “Who's the lucky guy?”
“His name is Bobby.” You spin the ring around on your finger. “He's a stock broker, he's a really good guy Buck.”
He nods. “I'm happy for you.”
“Thank you James. Are you seeing anyone?” You ask.
He shakes his head. “Nah, could never find the right person, I'm still looking though.” He smiles sadly.
“You'll find someone Bucky, you're a great man, you always have been.” You put your hand on top of his and he smiles at you. The feeling you get when your skin is on his, it's like you never stopped loving him. It feels like it always did, like you weren't meant to be with anyone else and when you look into his deep blue eyes you feel your heart pound hard against your chest. You squeeze his hand and shut your eyes, trying to get the feelings out of your mind.
“I should go.” Bucky whispers and pats your hand. “I wouldn't want you to keep your friends waiting, tell them it was nice to meet them.” He stands up and heads for the door.
You nod. “It was really good to see you, I hope this isn't the last time.” You walk back over to the table and lean on it for a minute, thinking. Your head is telling you to let him go, to move on, to leave things the way they are, but your heart is saying something else. “I have to go.”
“Bucky wait.” You say after finally catching up to him.
He turns around and stares at you. “Y/N? What is it?”
You don't say anything, you can't think of the right words. Heels clicking, you close the distance between you two and press your lips onto his, backing him into the nearest wall.
He runs his hands up your neck and they stop at your cheeks, deepening the kiss. Your bodies come together perfectly like pieces of a puzzle. He pulls away leaving you breathless. “Are you sure about this?”
You nod. “Where's your room?”
“Top floor.” He holds you by the hips watching your every move.
“Lets go.” You grab onto his tie, pulling him toward the elevator.
He places his hands on your cheeks and stares into your eyes. “You're so damn beautiful, you look as good as the day I met you.”
You bite your lip as you wait for the elevator, breathing almost too heavily. The elevator dings and opens up, you look into it and then back at Bucky. “I never stopped loving you.” You blurt.
He pushes you into the elevator kissing you,but desperately pushing the button for the top floor as if pushing it more with make it go faster.
You both pull at each other, lips everywhere, trying to get each other closer even if you know it isn't possible. The kiss is sloppy but neither of you care that your teeth are banging into each other. It was hot and sweaty and a mess, but it was passionate and like you would die if either of you stopped. “God Buck.” You breath out as he moves his lips down your neck.
He lifts your arms above your head and slides his hand down your leg and lifts you up, pushing you harder into the wall of the elevator.
You wrap your arms around his neck as he runs his hand up your thigh, moving under your dress. You bring his lips back to his and finally you reach the top floor. The walk to his room is longer than you want, but he keeps kissing you as you make your way down the hall. He can barely get his key card in the door he is so busy with you.
“Fucking come on.” He seethes, frustrated. Finally the door opens to his expensive suite and you stumble inside, kicking off your heels. He stops for a second after closing the door. “Y/N I don't want you to do anything you're going to regret.”
“Bucky I could never regret you, the only thing I regret is not staying with you.” You lay your hands on his chest, “I want this, God I want you.”
“Good.” He pushes you into the door a little too roughly, but you don't care. You just moan as he pushes you harder, deepening the kiss, his tongue moving across your lower lip, making your stomach flip. You remember how much he liked it when you ran your hands into his hair, so you move your fingers into his soft locks. You pull on it gently causing him to growl out a low moan of pleasure.
Bucky’s hands reach behind you and pull down the zipper on your dress, never breaking the kiss as he pulled it down your shoulders, letting gravity take care of the rest.
You push his jacket off him and start to unbutton his shirt, kissing his skin that each undone button leaves exposed. After his shirt is off you push him to the bed and that's when you know you're all in.
The sex is hot and messy. Passionate. Dare you say the best you ever had. There was nails digging into skin, gentle pulling of hair. Teeth and tongue, tugging on his lower lip as he runs his hand up your back. The sheets pull off the corners of the mattress. The headboard bangs into the wall. You're so close to him that it feels like you're glued together, you don't want this euphoria to end. You just want to be closer.
But as you fall back onto the bed when he lets you go, you close your eyes and breath out heavily, your head still spinning in ecstasy. “Jesus Christ Buck.” You laugh through exasperated breath.
He lays down beside you, his breathing just as heavy. “You can say that again doll.” He turns over onto his side and watches as your chest rises and falls with every breath. “I love you too you know.”
You stare at the ceiling and part of you wants to throw up, but the other wants to just kiss him and stay with him and forget all about your wedding. You look over at your phone seeing all the missed texts and calls from Wanda and Nat, there is also several from Bobby. Your ring is sitting on top of your phone, you couldn't bare to leave it on. You were a cheater, a dirty, horrible cheater and all you could think about was how much this was going to hurt him. “James, I..”
“Oh come on, don't James me, you can't just tell me you never stopped loving me and do all that and then just say nothing when I say I love you too.” He sits up. “I know that you're engaged, but you wouldn't have done those things with me if you had a future with that guy.”
“How do I just leave him? I've been with him for almost two years, I can't just show up at our apartment on Monday and say oh hey future husband how was your weekend? By the way I cheated on you.” You stand up and start pacing around the hotel room.
“Why not?” Bucky gets up as well, standing on the other side of the bed. “Clearly you aren't happy with this guy if you're running around with me, I don't know about you but I don't just throw around I love yous if I don't mean it.”
“I never said I didn't mean it.” You look down, broken by his words. “James, I just need some time to think.”
Bucky runs his fingers through his hair and sighs. “I guess that's fair, I'm sorry.” He runs his hand down your arm. “I miss us.”
“I miss us too Buck.” You sigh. “I'll be back I just I need some time." Planting a small kiss on his cheek you walk out of the hotel room with a lot on your mind. On one hand Bucky was the love of your life, one you thought you'd never have back and now that you did you didn't want to let him go. On the other hand Bobby was your now, he was solid, perfect, but he wasn't Bucky. You sat in your car trying to figure things out and all the sudden everything becomes clear when a Blink 182 song comes on the radio. You almost laugh out loud at how coincidental it is. It was like the universe was telling you to go back to that hotel room and be with Bucky. You and him had played I Miss You by Blink 182 way too many times, you beat it to death, but it was your favorite song.
Knowing that someone out there in the universe was looking down on you and saying be with Bucky, you didn't need to think anymore, so you ran back to his hotel room as fast as possible. You knock on the door and when he answers you throw yourself in his arms. “Don't waste your time on me you're already the voice inside my head.”
“I miss you.” Bucky pulls back, holding your face in his hands. He kisses you pulling you as close as he can and it feels like in this moment, it is just you and Bucky, like old times, like you're never getting older.
