As many of you may know, pride month is coming up in just a few days, and we want to make it something special! So, we’ve planned a bunch of different activities and events for the Jacksepticeye Community to get together and celebrate our diversity!
During June we will host a fundraiser for the Trevor Project, as well as a bunch of different activities like art prompts, togethertubes, and some giveaways!
The event will kick off on June 1st, and will last all throughout June 30th, with most of the activities concentrated in the last week of the month.
Here’s some more info on all the activities:
We’re hosting a fundraiser benefitting the Trevor Project over on Tiltify. We raised money for the Trevor Project last christmas, and reached a total of over $2,500 in just three weeks! You can win various prizes for donating, such as comissions from artists or entries to our giveaways! The fundraiser will open on June 1st and remain open through the entire month.
Every monday we will post an art prompt, which has been chosen by one of our fantastic lead artists, who is also going to participate in the art event themself. You’re free to interpret the prompt however you want, and we’d love to see your artwork! We will be tracking the tag #JSEPrideMonth. More info on this will come later
Togethertubes and streams
We’re going to host a few weekend get-togethers at twitch and togethertube to hang out and get in the charity spirit together! More info will be posted closer to the actual events.
Send in a picture of yourself at a pride event, holding a pride flag, or get creative, and we’ll add it to a collage! We’ll be accepting pictures through our tumblr submissions, by tagging or messaging us on instagram, or through our twitter DMs from June 1st to June 23rd!
We will be hosting a big giveaway where we will be giving away a bunch of things; such as a rainbow pride flag signed by Jack himself! You can enter by donating any amount to the fundraiser.
We will also be giving away a custom made Jackieboy Man jacket, made by none other than Victoria (@bunny_celia on twitter), which has also been signed by Jack. This jacket will be given to the person with the highest, total donations made under the same name.
During the last week of June, we will be running a little project where we invite the members of the community to share their stories about How the JSE Community has helped them in feeling more comfortable and secure in their identity. These stories will also be posted under #JSEPrideMonth
