he'd gotten jem to help him put some sunscreen on when he'd decided to take off his shirt. the water looked nice but all the business about a portal? or something? below the surface had him a bit wary of the thing. there was some curiosity, but not enough to test the risk factor out quite yet. that whole town was a trip. instead, he looked for a place to sit down. ❝ uh, hey, excuse me, miss? is that spot taken? ❞ jude asked, motioning to the area next to ana marie. ❝ i need a place to contemplate whether or not i should go in the water. ❞
