I recently learned that you can put more than one library card in Libby and borrow from multiple systems at once and you guys I'm, like

You know those friends that you like perfectly well but are not close friends to the point you'd hang out on your own but you run in the same main social circle so if anyone in that circle is having any kind of gathering you're both there

I had one of those friends describe me yesterday (at a social gathering we were both at) as a "recurring character in her life" and I was like omg yes that's it 😆

A sequence of things that all feel lovely:

1. Getting a notification that a super popular library book* you've had on hold for ages is finally available

2. Devouring the book because it was as delightful as you'd hoped it would be

3. Returning it and knowing that someone else is about to experience (1)

(*The book in this case was "First-Time Caller", incidentally MADE to be an audiobook, it has cute little radio breaks and everything, but this experience is, I believe, universal)

Thanks to the ISU World Figure Skating Championships and Kraken hockey there is only 1.5 hours tomorrow from 8am to 10pm when I will not have an ice sport to watch 🙏🏻 🤩

Which is good because I'm home sick with motherfuxking PNEUMONIA🖕🏻🫠 (got my antibiotics today, help is on the way)
