I have a new save I've been playing, and it's actually keeping my ADHD entertained for longer than normal because I have 6 couples in a mansion all together. So when the dopamine is fading on one of the couples I can focus on the storyline of another one without leaving the house (I don't like how when I come back to a house everything is not how I left it). It's madness but it's working for me. I'm so tired of losing the dopamine before I can get any couples married or have a baby. I am a hopeless romantic, damn it. I want to give my couples their happily ever after but the dopamine nopes out before I can 😒
I have the mansion in the DSV Hills. I've played this lot before, it's the same one my bachelorette gameplay was on (because it's the same mansion I used for it). I didn't have a problem of alien abductions when I played that. In fact I've never had a problem with alien abductions in the game. They just don't freaking happen to me, even with contacting aliens with the computer. But for some reason the aliens decided to make 3 out of the 12 people in this household their special interest. I didn't even take a picture each time it happened, but it happened soooooo often, especially to Jacoby. But he never came back pregnant either. It was so weird.
I got so sick of it that I found a mod that disables the abductions entirely & downloaded it. Like seriously, fuck off, y'all
Also was there a version of Wicked Whims that birth control didn't really work? At all? Because if there was, I have it. I'm behind on versions of that since I haven't updated my game in a while. But all 6 couples got pregnant even if they didn't have a condom break. I wondered if maybe I turned down birth control efficiency but nope! It's set at realistic. I don't understand, but the dopamine each surprise pregnancy has given me has been so worth it 😂

Infants are worth this insanity, I don't even care. They're the absolute cutest things in this game, ever. Except maybe kittens. The house currently has 5 infants. Infant insanity indeed but I'm only annoyed with the adults 😂
Dina got struck by lightning (and Orlando is like "why do you look like burnt rotisserie chicken?"). I now lock them in the house when it's storming because it's like they all run outside like excited puppies when it's storming. Also old style Dina Caliente looks GORGEOUS in this hair from Cats & Dogs (in a more realistic blonde shade, because wtf is the yellow playdoh hair color??)

For the first time in years I actually not only have stuck with a save until the couple were married, but also until they birthed the baby. I've held two weddings in the game with this save file, and have had 6 babies born. This was something my ADHD did not let me do before, ever since Mermaids first came to the game. I had my first mer couple & stuck with their storyline through 5 generations and ever since haven't been able to even stick with a save file until marriage & babies born. So this absolute madness is somehow working & also not making me rage quit 😂Also to be clear, I always play mers because I wrote lore for the occult. My ADHD got bored not because of that but because the game was no longer new & exciting after that massive first mer family storyline
Adalyn was born first, to Dina & Chase.
Ariana was born second, to Greta & Jacoby
Ashton born third, to Morgan & Corey, and is THE ONLY BOY. I've never had this happen, boys usually take over my Sim pregnancies. Also I realize several of the sims I'm referencing in this are not in anyone else's games but my own & I'm writing as if y'all know who the hell Corey, Jacoby, Peyton, Olivia, Orlando, & Chase are 😂

And the most recent baby in the house, Natalia, born to Charlene (Julia Wright but I changed her name to Charlene because Julia is too close to my own & it was weird for me) & Joaquin. Peyton & Olivia are still pregnant...
...but their baby will be arriving probably this weekend if not tomorrow night. The other wedding I held was Orlando's sister. I created Orlando years ago & had him saved in my library, and with this save file I decided to create his entire family too. Mom, Dad, 2 sisters, & a brother (which I regretted writing his family in as this large once I was in CAS because I don't like CAS very much). Oh I also built a new mansion for them & put it in San Sequoia since that's where I have Orlando's family & I loved writing the storyline while I had him & Candy "visiting" them for 2 weeks. I wanted more family style dialog & scenes with them. His older sister, Scarlett, married Rahul Chopra (Sorry, Rashida).
So I'm having a ton of fun & the dopamine is sooooooo good. The other baby born in the save file is to his sister & Rahul. As a doctor, Orlando delivered his own daughter because I couldn't figure out how to get another doctor to deliver Candy's baby (I thought the realistic childbirth mod telling me to use the surgery machine was gonna make her have a normal Get to Work hospital birth & I didn't want that so I kept yelling at my computer rather than looking up how the mod works), but after that I had him quit the career since he made it to the top & I'd rather him be home & available for writing with. But I put him in a doctor's coat & took him to the hospital with his sister so he could at least visit them in the room like he still works there 😂 His niece is named Dahlia.
Also every single mama who has an infant is already pregnant again, mostly because of failed or broken condoms. Candy & Orlando I actually tried with for them because it was their honeymoon. Every single one is having another baby of the same sex as their first (and that kinda annoys me). So I've got names picked & timeframes laid out for babies & weddings and lots of insanity & excitement. It's keeping me entertained for sure 😄
