I finished Cougar Town in ONE WEEK and I became obsessive. I cried a lot in the last episode, but it was good because the Jules’s birthday was such a perfect ending to this show. I wish more people were know and appreciate it. ❤️🍷
“You’re nothing special to me...ts....you’re a deadbeat!”
▲ & (Jackson)
Juliet cooking lunch for Jackson.
The silence in the air was palpable, the tension thick. The only audible sounds were the light hisses and sizzles coming from the pan that Juliet was cooking on, and the animals existing in the other room. Otherwise, silence. If things weren’t so tense, Juliet would’ve actually been thankful for it. It was rare that she got anything close to quiet with two newborn babies.
Jackson cleared his throat and Juliet narrowed her eyes in distaste. She was less than thrilled at the male’s sudden reappearance in her little sister’s life, especially considering how abruptly things had ended the last time. Of course, all she wanted was for Cassie to be happy. That was her main concern. But she just couldn’t understand why her happiness was with someone who crushed her, aside from Scarlett, who had tried so damn hard for her little sister. She guessed life just wasn’t fair sometimes.
Even if Juliet didn’t agree, she wasn’t going to be completely rude. With Cassie still not home and Adam and the babies asleep, it was just Juliet and Jackson. She had been just about to make lunch for herself even though it was considerably late in the afternoon. Ever since she had become a mum, things like that slipped Juliet’s mind.
“Here you go.” Juliet announced with a tense, polite smile as she turned around with a simple grilled cheese on the plate. She put it down in front of him.
“Uh- thanks.”
Jackson, for his part, had clearly caught on to the fact that Juliet was less than thrilled. At least he wasn’t pushing it.
Juliet nodded tightly.
When one of the twins started to cry, for once, Juliet was actually thankful. It gave her an excuse to leave the tension.
“Excuse me.” She muttered, barely giving Jackson a chance to reply before leaving the room and going to the nursery.

THE SHIP HAS SAILED ⛵️
this cougar town episode reminds me of when Monica was trying to prove to Phoebe that her and Chandler was still "hot" haha
