GOD I JUST REALIZED since I don't remember how Julia actually died other than that's she was ending things the night of October eighth 1990 (hehe 8..) I just thought she had a gun in her and y'know committed suicide, buttt thinking about it more I wanted her death to affect Carl (since I shipped them) and I gen just remembered that his father also fucking died by a gun and the way I made him find out about Julia's death (he was the first one to find her) is kinda like when he found out about his father's, now that I know that am I gonna change anything? No. Why would I do that, this is even better :)

December 29- January 5
Hello all! Last week was absolute chaos as my family and I travelled to spend Christmas with my Mum and other relatives. It's the first Christmas without my stepdad so I really wanted to be there with her. It was good (and so easy to get there with only a one hour plane ride!!) and we had a relaxing week although it was punctuated with waves of grief. I stayed with my Mum in her little apartment and it was honestly really lovely to spend so much time together, even through the hard things.
Needless to say, I didn't even attempt a "what I'm reading" etc. post last week but I am back this week!

The city where my Mum lives has the most amazing walking trails so we walked almost every day in the snow for 30-45 minutes. It got me thinking that I need to do the same here so now that I've recovered from the holiday and the emotion and the travel, I'm going to try and get out every morning.
