okay this is a question that i have been struggling with literally my whole life. when i was younger, i never really grasped the concept of a "god". then as i got older, and learned about what "god" is, i had doubts. i do not see how if there is a god, how he can stand back and watch his "children" not only die, but suffer to death. growing up, my family had only taken me to church a handful of times. about ten months ago, i finally told my parents that i was an agnostic atheist. my mom cried and tried so hard to convince me that there was a god, but i just could not believe anything she said. she forced me to go church for about two months and she asked me if i believed again, and i told her that i did. but i lied. i can't believe that there is a god. we stopped going to church and she is convinced that i am faithful again. sometimes, i wish i could have faith again. but i cant. and im happy with where i stand right now, i just wish my mom would realize it.
