On the 12th hour of the first day of October 1989, 43 women around the world gave birth. This was unusual only in the fact that none of these women had been pregnant when the day first began.  June McLaughlin never knew that her mom hadn't been pregnant.  She lived a fairly normal life, although she often lost track of time - to a point where she spent half of her teenage years seeing doctors and specialists.  But after witnessing her parents die in a mall shooting, the then twenty one year old finds herself feeling completely lost and disconnected, and soon finds her way to the party scene, spiralling further and further downwards, losing more and more time, until one day she meets an equally messed up boy with tattoos on each of his hands and the exact same birth minute as hers.

I can!!

June’s power is time manipulation but she never knew that she was one of the miracle kids so her childhood was spent in and out of doctors offices bc it was concerning how she would seem to forget huge chunks of time 

She doesn’t know it but one of the “specialists” that her parents brought her to was Reginald, but he decided that she was useless (basically for the same reason that he doesn’t want Five to jump through time)

Her parents died in a shooting when she was 21 and it started her down a messy road of partying and drinking and drugs 

When she was dealing with paperwork she found out that her dad wasn’t her bio dad and all that but by the the umbrella academy has fallen apart

So she doesn’t even think twice about the “no dad, born at 12 on October first” thing

Then she meets Klaus at a party and they hit it off and start hooking up and on October 1st they’re at the same party (not on purpose) but both of them are like “yoo it’s my birthdayyyy” 

and that’s how they realize that they were born at the exact same time 

and Klaus is literally just like “so um, you got superpowers?”

June thinks he’s just high and she’s like “literally wtf Klaus” but then he’s like “no seriously look up the umbrella academy” so she does and she’s like “what the actual fuck”

And anyways so they realize that she’s one of the miracle kids but they have no idea what her powers are so they just keep chilling and partying and eventually start dating for real and then Reginald dies and Klaus begs her to come to the funeral 

and then he asks pogo if he ever heard of June and it turns out that yes and that’s how she finds out that she met Reginald as a child
