June's Beginning
happy pride month!! my original plan was actually to work on a queer story this month, but then Fragment made it's way to the front burner... haaaah. so this month, i'll be working on that, mostly.
remember that to create is love in and of itself. it's an act of love, at least. that's why the best art is art where you can feel someone wanted to make it, wanted to express it, whether it makes you happy, sad, angry, fearful. for me, creation is divine, a way to connect closer to my Creator, a way to grow.
this month, i really want to focus on that. my end goal as a creative is to make art that isn't just fun, but that i can be proud of, art that i can see the little details in. art that i know i cared about from start to end. so, on top of just making an idea or characters i can love, i'm going to try and finish Fragment's outline and first drafting phase, so i can work on fleshing out those little details even more!
