Jet let out a small yell as he continued to walk through the forest, he was beyond angry. It had been two days since his run in with Katara and the Avatar, he was in a rage- he had been planning on filling the dam with water for months but needed a way how, this had been his most complex idea yet. But they had to ruin it all, Smellerbee continuously was telling him how he should let it go and move on but he couldn’t. He wanted all those Fire Nation soldiers and townspeople to go, leave him and his Earth Kingdom alone. This was his biggest wipe-out yet and it got ruined, all because compassion got in the way. His growl rolled through his throat, as he slammed his fist into a near by tree.
He continued his stroll until finding a way to a nearby town, stumbling in looking for a place to get his anger down. Jet noticed a small building in the far corner of rough street, it seemed ominous, distasteful as compared to the rest of the small shops. He took a deep breath, trying to steady his breathing. his eyebrows arched toughly knitting in anger.
With a push of a door he entered the building, instantly knowing where he was. The large counters, and tall stool, various table and unwelcoming men sitting around- it screamed bar. A small smirk returned to his face, pleased with where the wind took him. A few of the men looked up, sharing a glance with him then returning back to their own business. Jet made his way to the bar, sitting on one of stools that resided in the middle of the long counter. He placed his elbows up, crying to get comfortable. The bar tender approaching him, wiping down a glass, “aren’t you a little too young to be in here?”
Jet raised his head, his eyes meeting his, ignoring the question lifting a few yuans and slamming it on the counter, “just bring me the strongest thing you got,” as the bartender walked away without protest, picking up the money and walking off to get him the drink. Jet grumbled his annoyance and anger rising, it began to diminished as the small small was put in front of his, he took a sip, glancing around looking at the others inside. The small dark corner of the room, catching his attention, he glanced back, movement catching his eye. He squinted, taking another sip, the door opened, shinning some light- it was a girl, she had her feet up, resting on the table in front of her, a drink in her hand. She wasn’t looking over at her, completely in her own world. Jet smirked, taking another sip before turning back, facing away from her.
