Readathon Update (day 6..? or 7 i have no idea)

I've read another 100 pages of Gone Girl AND IT IS SO GOOD IDK I CAN'T EVEN. I FUCKING THREW MY BOOK IN THE MIDDLE OF IT I JUST CAN'T BELIEVE THE TWIST WHAAAT.  IS IT REAL LIKE DID THAT JUST HAPPEN WHAT IS GONNA HAPPEN I LOVE THE BOOK.

And then I went to this local fair and I've been on rides for full 6 hours so my head is spinning like crazy and I'm on the verge of throwing up (I'm having a hard time even typing this...). I've tried to read but I physically cannot focus on the book.. so I think I'm just done reading for today. 

Hopefully I'll be finished with Gone Girl tomorrow :)

the Maze Runner -booktown bookclub

I finished the Maze Runner for the booktown bookclub!

★★★★/5

Maze Runner - James Dashner 

(this is going to be a short quick review) The pacing was painfully slow, in my opinion. It seemed like the main character and the readers are kept from any information till like the very end where everything just pours out overwhelmingly. The story line drags. But other than that, overall, I enjoyed it very much. It was in intriguing story. It was also an easy light read, the writing wasn't too dense or hard to get through. My favorite character was Gally (he happened to be the only character I found interesting throughout the whole book). And no, I'm not planning to finish the trilogy, I just wanna watch the movie.. dylan omigod

Sure, I would recommend this book to others and I give it 4 out of 5.

My all time favorite books are Les Miserables and the Great Gatsby. And Looking for Alaska and the Wicked are ones I’ve liked a lot recently.

it used to be the Maze Runner but I’ve already finished it so now it’s the Gone Girl

I’m not necessarily dreading any of them..

I got my Maze Runner from a thrift store and the rest, I’m planning to borrow from the library or find ebooks (I’ve bought +50 books in May and I promised myself not to buy any more books for a little while..)

Lolita, It, 1Q84, Fahrenheit 451, Gone With the Wind, the Book Thief, It’s Kind of a Funny Story, the Color Purple, the Help, the Giver, the Ultimate Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy, the Bell Jar, the Complete Grimm’s Fairy Tales, Rebel Belle, etc etc I honestly don’t know,I’m just naming books I’ve been wanting to read so badly.
