You always smell so nice. And you remembered my name. I knew yours before we even met, and I remember it still. Sometimes I watch how perfect you look with your guards down and your eyes not quite alert, scribbling words to some prompt you know little about just to get through it. And I feel like an observer more than a friend. I know you are usually on the road in life. You are going there and going here and up there and it seems I’m just staring at my notepad in in a dimly lit room, writing about who I think I am. But it’s all smudged and forgotten the minute I look into your eyes. I’d throw it all away for just one embrace - a real one that means the same to you. I’m so simple and I don’t want much. I just lose myself around you and I’m sure if you knew, you’d never want that to happen. You just always smell so nice
