“Jesus christ,” Angie muttered to herself as she wandered around the grocery store. She was so used to having Lily with her for errands that wandering alone was..strange. Most moms would kill for time alone, but Angie didn’t really like it all that much. The only highlight was that she was with her grandparents, and hopefully, they were spoiling the shit out of her little girl. After everything, both sides deserved it. She eyed her cart, mentally checking off the list she forgot at home. It looked like she had just about everything she needed, except for one last thing. She headed towards the liquor aisle with a sigh, looking for something. It was her primary vice at this point, and a bottle of bourbon looked sweeter than any pack of cookies. Of course, the only bottle of jim beam she could find was on the top shelf. “Fuckin’ bastards,” she muttered as she looked up and down the aisle. With no one around, Angie took the chance and stepped up onto the lowest shelf and just barely managed to snag her prize. Hopping down, she couldn’t help the grin on her face as she slipped the bottle into her cart.
