( played ovw, actually! before that, i did a little shopping and got lunch. been a relaxing day thusfar.

oh boy, remembering stuff that’s interesting! that’s always a challenge for me. when i was a kid, we lived in a town that was OVERRUN by deer. just. deer everywhere. they’d poop all over people’s lawns and eat their gardens. it was pretty bad. i have so many memories of seeing them just casually strolling down the street, or of trying to run whole groups of them off. even got super close to a mom and her baby while the baby was nursing one time.

in hindsight, it was probably pretty dangerous getting as close as we did to animals that were fully capable of charging and killing us, but yanno. )

Staring at this guy, she can’t really be sure what to make of him. The soot covering him, the peg leg and metal arm? Yeah, no, she couldn’t figure it out. It was strange, he was strange. But at the same time, he piqued her curiosity. She couldn’t help it, it wasn’t every single day you came across someone like this guy and…. Wait, was- was his hair on fire?

Walking up to him, she gently taps him on the shoulder. “Excuse me? Your hair is smoldering.”
