This morning the average overnight rate reported by Bankrate.com on a confirming 30 year fixed mortgage is 2.96%. It’s a drop of 6 basis points since last week, it’s a new record low and it’s the first time they have broken below the 3% barrier. When interest rates break down it signals trouble. Paradise Sharks has a closing today with a lawyer that I really like. He once asked why I give my clients such great value as he felt the quality of my service was far above what he typically sees.

Million dollar home sales in the Northern Palm Beaches continue setting record after record after record.

Last year, more million dollar homes exchanged hands in the Jupiter area than ever before in history. As of today, 2020 sales are 12.7% higher than 2019's record pace.

But, we are just getting started, as more million dollar homes are under contract right now in the Jupiter area than ever before in history. At this minute, pending home sales at the very top end of the market are 6% above any other numbers ever recorded.

Wealthy northerners continue to move into the Sunshine State in droves after being chased away by high taxes and bankrupt cities and states in other parts of the country.

In August, New York Goverrnor Andrew Como begged those who had fled that state to come back. Good luck with that Andy!

Median single family home prices right now in the Northern Palm Beaches sit at $592,200 up another 3.2% so far in September.

Watch the debate on Tuesday, watch the election in 38 days, and pay very close attention. If the Democrats take the house and Biden wins the race for President, we are going to see a far different climate in the Florida real estate market.

Another straight forward reason why anyone in Jupiter should think twice before paying more than a 4% total commission to sell their home. Many can negotiate even better pricing.

Northern Palm Beaches million $ home sales shatter all records

The Jupiter area luxury real estate market has blown away any historic sales records that ever stood. As of today, the number of July homes sales that closed above a million dollars is 116% above year ago numbers and we still will not have a final count for another week or so.

Look at the picture below. This was taken on 5th Avenue in New York City at 2:00 this afternoon. Saturday afternoon, not a cloud in the sky, temperatures in the mid 80's and the streets are EMPTY.

Where are all the people? Well many have moved to Jupiter and the surrounding cities to escape a city and state in severe financial distress.

Million dollar home sales in the Northern Palm Beaches left history books in the dust during July. Sales were up 116% and we don't even have final numbers yet.
